Not so long as it's linked to a reward system like the Incarnate system, I won't. I don't mind raids existing. I mind raids existing with a reward structure designed as the "next step" for our characters.

I don't think giving ex-customers what they want is the best policy if it means you're locking things away from your current customers.

Some people play CoH on computers that can't handle large teams or raids. I used to, then I realized playing on a computer I built 10 years ago was BS, so I saved up and built a new one.

My computer sometimes has fits in large teams. I can't predict when it'll happen. It might happen several times a team or once a week, it's random. However larger teams do aggrivate it and if you have me in your TF as a main tank or buffer, you will be accepting the risk that I suddenly stop moving for 10 minutes. Now you may say "Well then I don't want to team with you" and thats fine. I don't want to cause the team to fail because of my computer. So give me a sane way of doing things.

As it is I will run the TF's and if I freeze up and the team wipes or I cannot help on the last mission, well, what happens happens. I personally think those other players who have issues that may cause them to leave SHOULD join TF's. If they have to leave or constantly go afk, oh well. I mean, we wouldn't want to trivialize the content. Think of it as "added difficulty".

If you flatly cannot earn X without teaming, that's forced.

If teaming is the most efficient way to get X but you can still earn it by other means, whatever they may be, that's encouraged.

I'm fine with investing multiples of time over the teamed average to get whatever X is by solo means as long as it isn't just ridiculous, like trying to get the badge by killing that one Infected that sometimes spawned in Atlas, or wherever.

I suspect the devs know a lot more about what the general player populace wants than you or I do. I further suspect that this shift toward end-game teaming content is being done because that's what the majority of the playerbase wants. I can't prove that, of course, but unlike some people I won't claim to know one way or the other. I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

He was just pointing out how quickly earning a Notice could be. If you can't understand his point, or would rather just make stuff up(like you were just doing), that is on you.

"If you don't team then you don't get the benefits of teaming."

He's not (as I understand it, I suppose I should note although I would think this caveat is obvious) attacking you, he's saying that if you're not willing to pay for a Porsche, then you don't get to drive it home. You choose not to team, you choose not to take advantage of team-based rewards/systems.

I'm actually not. I solo and team. I did two Apexs today and a Kahn the other day. I do like the option to solo as teams are not always there (especially redside.)

I just see no reason to punish others when both sides can have a fun time and fair advancement. No one needs to suffer for the others and I do not understand the glee some get over the idea that those who have time constraints will not be able to advance past a snails pace.
