Animal Pack - Bug Thread
The jumping sound effect of Beast Run has the male voice only.
EDIT: I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but it seems like one - the face details of the beast heads have "mask 1" as a option, but it jut makes a colored patch on the snout, rather than an actual mask shape.

Not sure if this counts as a bug but under heads Animal Birds only getting the choice for eagle instead of for Eagle hawk and vulture. Under heads Animal Big Cats- Medium size only getting option for Cheetah and Panther. Under Animal Big Cats-Large size only getting option for Lion and Tiger heads.
Also not sure if this is intended but unless you are using the monsterous bottom there is no option for boots to give you animal feet.
Where are we going and Why am I in this Handbasket?
Twice now when working in the Character Creation screen with the Animal Pack parts my computer has crashed. Not even a blue screen crash; the screen goes black and I get a 'power saver mode' message, like the video input is just gone; the background music lasts a few seconds longer then stops. No keyboard functions worked at that point, I had to turn the computer power off to reset.

Not sure if it's a bug or not but the /cce commands do not use any intuitive translation of the four new cce's.
/cce 0 featherburst
/cce 0 furburst
/cce 0 featherspin
/cce 0 furspin
are all not working. Might want to get those strings changed to avoid the /cce 0 podpeople thing again
The Feather Burst costume change emote doesn't sync correctly going from costume to costume. Sometimes the costume will change and then the animation will play, while other times the animation will play, and then a second after the *flash* the costume will switch.
This seems to be a problem in general. Tested on:
Male -> Huge
Huge -> Male
Male -> Male

Female tigers/lions have manes.... Tigers have lion manes...
edit: not sure if this is even a bug or maybe I just can't find it, but gloves have no animal fur option...
Animal fur option is avalaible for Tights, coats, coats without sleaves but is not available for trenchcoat. The closest entry allowed with trenchcoats is Monster Fur and that doesn't allow a patteren to be used as always. All on the Male body type I haven't tested it for the other bodies.
Edit: I loved seeing all the options for birds, bulls and cats. Then I get to the canine sections and...2 heads with no options. Really? It's kind of sad but still better then the beast head options we had before.

Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
Noticed on Jackets on the Huge Model, likely to carry on to the Male and Female models;
Chest options don't actually affect the arms. This is noticeable when picking short sleeve from the sleeve options, as that is the only one that exposes the arms. No chest option affects them EXCEPT Clockwork. Which glitches it out and seems to merge with the basic arm details, likely because of it's built in texturing.
Given that is the only way to get a standard shirt with fur under it, that should really be rectified.
(Or give Males and Huge a damn 'Shirt' option like Females have....it's only been, what, how many years now? ¬¬ )
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

When my ninja MM runs with beast run, his bow disappears but a bowstring is still there hovering near his hands. when He stops the bow reappears.
Haven't been able to est it with other archery characters but that seems irrelevant considering.

I'll miss you all.
Not sure if this is a bug:
Is there meant to be a Panther body pattern to match the Panther head pattern? If so, not seeing it in any combination.
I know a panther isn't totally black but within the confines of th game I don't think there is the need for that kind of detail.
When something good happens to me, I can never enjoy it....
I am always too busy looking for the inevitable punchline...

New Costume Change Emotes replaying power up Animations
When I had Hasten running, using the new CCEs cause the Hasten sound FX to play again, which it shouldn't since it's one of the most annoying sounds in the game (and in the top ten requests for "How do I silence...?").
This also happens when zoning: the animation from Hasten and other running buffs (like the Fortune buffs) will replay when zoning. Don't know if that's related to what's happening when activating the CCEs (and this isn't even with changing a model, just 'clothing').
If you can get Hasten to stop replaying with the new CCEs, can you get to also stop replaying when zoning, too? (Thanks!)

I'll miss you all.
I'm goin to add few thing in "(Text)" to fix or Add.
Head
• Avian (includes Eagle, Hawk, Vulture) - (you missing Hawk and Vulture face for choice)
Body Patterns
• Animal Fur (need to add Grey or Arctic Body Pattern)
Boots (for Monstrous Legs)
• Cat Claws (Need to add Large Cat Claw for choice for example: Lion and Tiger maybe Wolf Claws can be added also)
• Talons (Need to add choice Eagle, Hawk and Vulture Talons Becouse right now they look like Small Chicken feet :P)
Nacht Nova Thunder = Level 50 (Liberty) Dark Blaster/Storm Summoning - Defender
Nova Ninja = Level 50 (Liberty) spines/ Regeneration - Scrapper
CanadianMan = Level 50 (Liberty) Super Strength/Invulnerability - Tanker
LibertyBoy = Level 35 (Liberty) Stone Armor
/Fiery Melee - Tanker
Bugs:
Tops: Armored pads has no texture option. It's armored pads or nothing. Don't think it's this way on live and doesn't match the other tops.
Tops: Plant. Acts like a tops with skin. There are no options to choose but plant and the skin color shows through. Doesn't belong in the tops category unless you can change the top color and plant/pattern colors and add patterns over it. Reptilian for example works fine in Tops.
Tops: Insect Hybrid also belongs in tops with skin as there is a cutout that shows skin and nothing can be put over the armor pattern wise with the skin cutout.
Patterns seem to work fine on all other tops/chest selections (in robes, shirts, jackets etc..)
Faces: Are missing corresponding body patterns. Only an old Tiger one exists. No cheetah, no Leopard, no new tiger. The old tiger one doesn't blend into the body either.
Animal Heads: Are not in a single category. Shouldn't these all be in with mostrous? or at least their own single Animals category? We have a lot of things like this that should be reorganized for easier sorting of lists and finding parts.
Animal Heads: Grey wolf & Eagle have no real size options. looks weird on a normal body, unlike big cats.
Animal Heads: Lion Mane/Tiger Sideburns: only has tiger strips as an option and no other cat type. (eg leopard, cheetah) The ears DO have these options.
Animal Heads: ALL: Have no standard Mask patterns for the faces.
Costume Sets: None of the animals are in here. Werewolf is still using a monster head.
Monstrous Gloves: Don't have options like justice, or justice with pads for many glove types where the knobby clawed hands would look great.
Background Light/Dark Controls: are broken again.
Beastly Rage Aura: No body/breath combo. Glowing eyes are a bit too far from the eyes, a few of the newer auras are like this.
NEED: Skirt/Kilt options for monster legs. How is the minotaur supposed to wear the Cimeroran armored skirt over his legs?

This may not be a bug, but there doesn't seem to be any transition with beast jumping when just holding down the jump. IE you never actually "land" as if part of the animation is missing.
Can be replicated by just holding down jump and either standing still or moving forward/back.
With some of the animal heads on female models (notably wolf head), the breath aura seems to originate from above the nose, somewhere mid-muzzle, rather than the nose or the mouth.
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.
|
When doing /e crouch with the new feline feet, they clip horribly through the tops of the legs. This seems like a big oversight since this is a natural combination of costume and emote to go together.

Clipping issues - When using the growl emote or the beast run power on a huge model, the back and top of the head clips into the body. This has the effect of making the head look smaller - and some of the new heads already look a bit small for a huge body type to begin with.
Also, the lion mane clips into the back of shirts and armors. Sometimes this looks ok - like the hair is laying on top of the shirt. But other times, the clipping is more obvious and looks like the hair is going through the shirt/armor. Insect Armor is a good example of this.
Beast Run - Using monstrous legs and hooves with this power and viewed from behind, it looks like the feet of the character are not contacting the ground - kind of like the character is gliding along on his knees and arms. It looks better from the side, but still a bit odd. I tested this with other monstrous feet options and most of them look ok in comparison - perhaps because of the digitigrade claws.
