Lots of people assume steampunk. What if it's fish/deep themed?
I don't know if super-trout are going to be quite as impressive.

Maybe it will be Queen-themed instead.

Whilst buying this on the day of release is a given, due to it's awesomeness, I will echo the desires of many when I ask for NATURAL claws for the claws set. Seems like a perfect time to do those. This Pack is screaming for them. Perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised? We shall see. But like I said, awesome, and I will buy it (twice actually!!!).

I am no programmer/ animator, but how hard would that be? Just don't make a fist with each attack. It really would be that simple. The claws could be out all the time. Martial Arts has extra animations, I would think that these would be even easier. I'm sure somebody will get on here and say how impossible/time consuming/nobody wants/dumb/cost prohibitive/(am I missing one?) idea that is. Oh well.

Your argument is invalid. My head is a bird.

Also, Cheetahmen!

Beast Run has the EXACT same stats as Ninja Run. Just a different animation. You can just type [Beast Run] into chat to take a look.

And once again, you devs do a marvelous job of gettin' my money! I have two accounts you wiley things!
You really outdid my expectations for this pack. I'm very pleased with it. Everything looks great. Oh sure, no jackal heads but that's such a strange, niche' canine that it's not a huge disappointment for me. Egyptian pack, perhaps?

That said, I'm tickled at all the little pieces, the paws and new spots and that lion head! Thank you, devs! Also, is that another fluffy, wolf tail? It's... fluffier! Win!

As another said, 'Can I just give you my 10 bucks X 2, now?'

Doesn't the "60" include patterns though? And if you count head, chest, gloves, legs, boots separately, that's five entries for each new pattern...

Ah, I get it, the dev team are in a time loop to 1978. Next - the disco pack with chest hair and medallions.

There's the flea aura mentioned elsewhere, and that breathing wolf effect is probably an aura too. Presumably a fixed aura like the Cyborg pack ones, rather than letting you breathe out of your hands or something.

The new Intrepid Informer dev article mentioned multiple beaks for the eagle head. I wonder if that means different eagle beaks or beaks from different bird species. So maybe if an eagle isn't your bird of choice, you can pick a different beak.

I'm hoping there'll be something hawk-like too. In any case, grabbing this the second it's available. Looks very cool, and I'll probably spend a lot more time on my lion scrapper.

The pack looks good, tho I'm slightly disappointed there's no love for the rodents (Mice & rats). But I AM glad we got some bird types in there. The eagle looks awesome, and I hope the variety of beaks they spoke of in the Informer will allow for some other variants, like hawks and possibly even non-predatory birds like ravens.

No no, just the first two really. Impossible and time consuming, with a dash of requiring some programming time and not just animating time, as you seem to be assuming.

Alas, this particular issue is not one that can be animated away. It's tied in to the combat stance, and is thus locked by programming. Furthermore, it would need code that makes it so you can't choose the open handed animations if you have weapon claws (or, more easily, using the open hand animations would block the weapons from rendering). And then you'd have people complaining that they want extendable finger claws that are only out when they're attacking, and more complaints about mitten hands, et cetera ad infinitum.

In all likelihood, this is far more feasible now than it was prior to Issue 16, but it would require more resources than they can probably spare with the new Incarnate systems being added to the game in the upcoming issues.
