Thank you for reminding me of another person I never want to hear from again, Leo. Tokyo has made a point of trolling animal-theme threads pretty much as far back as I can remember, and I no longer have patience for bigotry.

That, as well, answers the question of "why" people do this.

Looks good, but a bit choppy. Unless that's intentional to see each frame longer.

Very nice. I'd been tinkering with using the "clockwork" pieces for a similar effect. Her name was going to be tab-E.

Oh, you were talking about that guy. Well, I'm still indifferent. He can say whatever the crap he wants. I'm just not the only one that doesn't care if he pushes 'post' or not, apparently.

I don't suppose it's possible to make a robotic-like dinosaur or wolf like that (yes I've seen the 2x EXP weekend project of those guys on facebook).

Maybe we should ask for robot animal parts (robot tail, pls)

Committed furries will already have madde their avatars using the current available option in the costume creator - all the boster pack does is let them get closer to how they want to look - it's no different from the devs adding a new hairstyle that's a cross between the Shag and Shy styles which would let me have my in-game hair look the same as my out of game hair.
The aniaml booster is mostly just about upgrading and refining looks - there won't be a noticable increase in the amount of dog and cat people - they'll just look more relaistic, that's all.

I understand why we're getting these parts, and I'm not gonna go "Ew, you all suck" for it. Although personally I hope we get a wider variety of animals that I've mentioned time and again, but that's not the point.

What I want to say is, I hope all the people that raged about the Mutant Pack not having anthro pieces have egg on their faces now that they have an entire pack dedicated to animals.

Why would they have egg on their faces? The hue and cry over that very thing and then the follow-up post by Noble Savage arguing against an animal booster because it "probably wouldn't be popular" being vociferously disagreed with led directly to the inclusion of the wolf tail to the Mutant Pack and then the creation of this pack. Based on the timing, the very "raging" against the Mutant Pack -- and because numerous people said they bought it solely *for* the 11th-hour addition of the tail -- almost certainly points to the fact that this pack wasn't even being seriously considered at the time of the Mutant Pack's release.

I suspect this is an excellent example of the Devs listening to the playerbase and giving us what we want, not something that was planned all along and we're just now hearing about.

If posting this stuff was truly a problem, then we all probably would have had our accounts axed by now and all these posts deleted.

It's the weekend, most of the staff is off, I don't expect anything as harsh as bans, but I wouldn't be surprised if many of these posts disappeared come Monday.

Here is a vid of running with the current classic awkward beast-style legs in game. I shot this on the test server though and didn't bother to fix my graphics. If requested, I can re-shoot on live servers with better graphics (and better planned video). I did a lot of short sprints instead of long ones, so it's pretty jerky + the craptastic graphics.

For some reason, I'm liking that fur color scheme...never tried a green furred creature like that. I think the most different I've ever made was a red & black haired werewolf...

*coming from a poster with a blue & white wolf in his sig*

It would certainly help spread the cost of development if they did. (insert my oft-repeated hope of a "Savage Lands" in Praetoria here).

Hehe, that toon is the evil clone of my main (and namesake)... also with the same color scheme... pink and cyan... which actually looks like that pukey green color you described with the current "monstrous fur." LOL.

I should update my user pic to the color version of my toon. BRB......

Considering Posi at one point said something very close to/along the lines of 'Those waiting for animal parts should look forward to the Mutant Pack', not really no. Sure, people assume a lot, but I don't think anyone honestly expected the stuff we actually got in the Mutant pack.

I honestly don't understand why some posters seem to have some overiding need to needle people who ask for certain things.

From the pictures we've seen so far, they're doing heads, legs/feet and skin textures, so I think it's quite likely that there'll be some kind of new hand parts too, especially if they're going with the the idea of giving full outfits in each booster.
Goddess I hope so.

More hand options? Sure, I can see that. Claws-Powerset-specific hand options that people have been clamoring for forever? I'm not holding my breath on that. Beast Run alone was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I suppose it's possible we could get beast claws as some people(including myself) want, but at this point I'm not expecting anything else that isn't purely a costume option.

I'd be happy with the Ghouls' run animation.

Truly tis ill omen while golden girl actually is being reasonable and sane.

Though the typos make me wonder if it's someone else in reality.

On the note of NPCs making use of this, I think it would be cool if the DE got a makeover. Like the Lesser Devoured could use the ghoul movements and be smaller than a regular Devoured, which could use the beast run, and finally the Greater Devoured using an Ember Demon Skeleton.
War Wolves/werewolves could benefit from this as an upgrade too.

Well with the beast run power coming it is safe to say that the booster is comming, now the waiting game is just going to get to me as I have at least 3 of my toons that would be very interested in some new animal parts.

Furtention center = detention center for, or run by, furries

I don't see why. The official picture posted on Facebook last week prominently displayed the new canine head as the focus of the photo. The Beast Run power description is available for anyone to see by typing it into your chat window in the game, and it's the exact same thing we've done for pretty much every previous booster pack and Issue release. It's part of the fun.

that's not what I meant. I meant these (errors in bold):
