Speculation and Hopes for the Animal Booster
Dispari has more than enough credability, and certainly doesn't need to borrow any from you.

Thank you for reminding me of another person I never want to hear from again, Leo.

Very nice. I'd been tinkering with using the "clockwork" pieces for a similar effect. Her name was going to be tab-E.

Maybe we should ask for robot animal parts (robot tail, pls)
Committed furries will already have madde their avatars using the current available option in the costume creator - all the boster pack does is let them get closer to how they want to look - it's no different from the devs adding a new hairstyle that's a cross between the Shag and Shy styles which would let me have my in-game hair look the same as my out of game hair.
The aniaml booster is mostly just about upgrading and refining looks - there won't be a noticable increase in the amount of dog and cat people - they'll just look more relaistic, that's all.

eh, ignore the haters, this news is cause for celebration, if someone gotta hate, their tears are delicious.
I understand why we're getting these parts, and I'm not gonna go "Ew, you all suck" for it. Although personally I hope we get a wider variety of animals that I've mentioned time and again, but that's not the point.
What I want to say is, I hope all the people that raged about the Mutant Pack not having anthro pieces have egg on their faces now that they have an entire pack dedicated to animals.

I suspect this is an excellent example of the Devs listening to the playerbase and giving us what we want, not something that was planned all along and we're just now hearing about.

If posting this stuff was truly a problem, then we all probably would have had our accounts axed by now and all these posts deleted.

I wonder if the devs will use any of these parts on new NPCs?

For some reason, I'm liking that fur color scheme...never tried a green furred creature like that. I think the most different I've ever made was a red & black haired werewolf...

I should update my user pic to the color version of my toon. BRB......

I honestly don't understand why some posters seem to have some overiding need to needle people who ask for certain things.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Maybe there will be some new clawed beast hands in the animal booster?
From the pictures we've seen so far, they're doing heads, legs/feet and skin textures, so I think it's quite likely that there'll be some kind of new hand parts too, especially if they're going with the the idea of giving full outfits in each booster. |
More hand options? Sure, I can see that. Claws-Powerset-specific hand options that people have been clamoring for forever? I'm not holding my breath on that. Beast Run alone was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I suppose it's possible we could get beast claws as some people(including myself) want, but at this point I'm not expecting anything else that isn't purely a costume option.
Branching Paragon Police Department Epic Archetype, please!
There's nothing in the booster pack to be afraid of - the furries aren't going to round us all up and put us in furtention centers just because they can now have a more realistic doggy head

Though the typos make me wonder if it's someone else in reality.
On the note of NPCs making use of this, I think it would be cool if the DE got a makeover. Like the Lesser Devoured could use the ghoul movements and be smaller than a regular Devoured, which could use the beast run, and finally the Greater Devoured using an Ember Demon Skeleton.
War Wolves/werewolves could benefit from this as an upgrade too.

Well with the beast run power coming it is safe to say that the booster is comming, now the waiting game is just going to get to me as I have at least 3 of my toons that would be very interested in some new animal parts.

Furtention center = detention center for, or run by, furries

That, as well, answers the question of "why" people do this.
