The wife is the one that got me to play so no aggro there!

I have two ways to avoid Wife agro.

1) Before logging in, (If she's at work) I make sure housework is done. She can't be upset that I'm on if the house work is done.

2) We have a written contract that on a certain day I get to play as much as I want in the evening as long as she gets a nice back massage. Then in between mishes I take a min to see her.

Now my wife is 8 months pregnant. If her water does break there is a chance that you have hours before baby shows up. So if you are both looking to pass some time before going back to the hospital, an ITF isn't a bad idea. lol (But in reality I doubt I would be playing since I'd be too excited about baby coming.)

Again did not fail to amuse.

MY Contributions,

1) Have your spouse help make your characters, that wat she can't complain when you spend time staring at their backsides.

2) Be very very very careful with the physique slider when making a tribute toon. ( personal experience, I moved it to the right to give the character some curves turned into why is her butt bigger than all the other character's )

Lol.

But i sorta get a feeling you have some personal experience from some of these Steelclaw

We never left the house. Both Alpha and I were playing CoH about 2hrs after our son was born. I think I got my own account shortly before he was born.

ETA: Don't worry, where we lived registered nurse midwife's were able to attend people at home. Not like I would have made it to the hospital in time anyway...with either kid.

O_o, I can also be a witness when my SG pal who's wife was giving birth logged in one day and said to us "Hey guys, how are you all doing? You guys wanna run a trial tonight?" So we all answered yeah sure. Then he told us his wife is in the hospital giving birth soon. SO we told him to log off and stay by his wife

After a little talk and coercion with the help of a Luck of the Gambler. He went on his merry way to his wife's bedside. Funny thing is his wife gave birth and when they were naming him he wanted to name his kid Marcus as in Statesman Marcus Cole. Funny enough his wife agreed.

*It would be acceptable to refer to 'hanky panky' as a two-person TF. It is not acceptable to do speed run TFs.

Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!

This kind of thing just scares me and makes me all O.O!

I'd be bonding with my child after a birth, not MMOing. Seems kinds messed up not to be spening that time with your child and/or husband.

Forcing people to stop doing what they enjoy and do something else called "bonding" is not always the best answer. In my experience, the best parents are the ones who take parenting seriously, but also have their own life, hobbies and interests to bring to the table. Similarly, in a marriage or relationship, the best partner is one that brings something to the relationship other than a single minded devotion to doing a complete mind-meld. It's a balancing act.

Your milage may vary, of course.

My husband was passed out cold (1am-3am labour/Delivery/midwife departure). I was on that post-birth adrenaline high, couldn't sleep, and I was starting to nurse my son. Now, that was my second kid, Staring at a nursing baby gets boring after a while, especially when one is doing it for about 45min at a kick. Grabbed my boppy pillow and ran a few missions.

Post labour insomnia + breastfeeding + sleeping husband = I need something to do or I'm going to go crazy with boredom.

I think that's awesome, MrsAlpha.

keeps you from drop kicking the baby. and really the baby doesn't care. It's warm, snuggly and has access to food. Well done.
