Discussion: Conan Costume Creation!

Those of you who stay up late to catch the nightly talkshows might have seen a recent episode of Conan where the off-the-wall host had a famous animator draw him as a superhero: the "Flaming C." It is a creative design, but it got us thinking: could our players, using the robust character creator in City of Heroes, create a better Conan superhero?

Here is your chance to design a better crime-fighting (or maybe crime-committing?) Conan O'Brien. With all of the costume creation options at your disposal, let's see what you can come up with! And who knows--perhaps the show's writers might stumble upon the contest and feature some designs in a segment!

The first thought I had when I saw that design was whether or not I could re-create it in CoH. Of course this isn't so much a redesign, but an adaptation:

sorry for crappy video card and img quality lol. i didnt know we were recreating the actual drawing so I made up my own conan costume, went with the moon emblem and brooch 39 for the cape. oh and i was going through screen shots and saw this. tell me it doesnt look like Planet Express from Futurama.

his battlecry, which i think is typical Conan, I had better ideas, but none that fit into the limited space the battlcry has to fit into...

There is my Conan Hero, cause he obviously is a Hero, and uses Comedy to disarm his foes... too bad comedy is not a powerset, so I went with Sonic Resonance/Sonic Blast...
