Sexism in Costume Choices?

I am ALL OVER jewelry for both sides. Rings, bracelets, piercings, etc. The more the better, but I'll still back-burner this request in exchange for long hair.

I don't disagree with most of your point but GMs don't decide much, I'm pretty sure they have a list of what is and isn't appropriate and they go by that list, and in the case of cross dressing, they'd go by what ever list of things their employer gives them.

That's mostly borderline gross, but the excessive abs tip it over the edge into grossness

It's funny that you're so quick to Godwinise others, GG, when your own views are so rigid, unyielding and borderline faschistic...

And the only reason it looks a little uncanny valley is because it's the male texture applied to the female model, because there IS no female option in-game. Obviously were one created it would be a lot more figure-appropriate than an impromptu fix to use as an example of intent.

That pic from Coldfront is old, grainy and using a texture that's not actually applicable in-game, because it has nipples on it. And I know that from experience with that particular mod.

I gave you a solution to this already Sam. Firefox + the FFvb extension : http://www.tycamtech.com/firefox-ext...ffvb-version-2

It will remove any existence of any person in question entirely from your Forum experience.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for Chrome... and if I'm reading properly (and it's not just an offshoot,) development has stopped, so as Firefox updates (V4 and beyond) the extension will be broken.

Since some of the characters in game ARE created by mad science, then it's a valid option. Unfeminine is an opinion. Personally I would love to see that in game. My SD/SS tank would love to actually, you know, have muscle.

Weird. It's like you're implying that things like female bodybuilders exist, and that they have highly defined musculature, but we all know that that doesn't exist in comic books, much less the real world. (At least according to some. ) Even worse is that it carries the implication that some people might find that sort of thing attractive when we all know that only women with large racks, skinny waists, pronounced buttocks, and minimal muscling are attractive. Blasphemer!

Yeah, this always baffled me, especially when it comes from actual women. Men, I can get. Yes, we're idiots a lot of the time, and no, I don't take pride in that, but you can kind of expect it. But when you see women dismissing anything but the most sexist view of women, as popularised by Hollywood movies, TV ads and erotic magazines, something feels REALLY wrong with the world.

I'm not a feminist, I don't think, but it still horrifies me when people defend this game's lack of decent representation of women. I mean, I can get why the game is like that - technical limitations dictate how much variety you can introduce in a digital product, and I can't blame the developers for sticking with the most popular theme, even if I feel the original developers simply lack imagination to foresee other possibilities. But I can see why the game is like that. I CANNOT see why people insist it never expand, as though I'm asking for something morally criminal to be added.

Her reactions to this theme is one of the reasons why I never want to know what Golden Girl thinks ever again, but even her sexist xenophobia notwithstanding, I'm surprised time and again by how much people will insist that this shouldn't happen. It's extra options, guys and gals. The more options we have, the better, and if a few of us happen to get use of some you don't need, then isn't that still a net gain for the game as a whole?
