Highlights for me on this the new revised and edited actiony™ Thor trailer were; Odin stripping his son of his powers and recalling Mjöllnir from him as well as a shocked Thor seeing his signature armour dissolving away from his arms in a very cool sfx (1:24-1:25) before he is cast out.
At 1:27 you can clearly see the branches going out to different planes / worlds.
At 1:48-9 you can see Heimdall's Observatory;

“Once you step inside the observatory, you basically tell Heimdall where you want to go,” added Kyle, “The sword Heimdall uses is not only used to defend Asgard, but it’s also the key to this device.” |
2:16 onwards - Love the added runeage on the side of the Thor Logotype - very cool !.

I like Thor. I had loads of Marvel Thor comics back in the 1970s (I guess you could say I was an auTHORity on the series), bought the diorama, looking forward to seeing it as a live-action film with such a stellar cast.
"Ooh no...this is Earth, isn't it?"
I know how he feels :P
Awesome. Do want.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Thor is from Asgard. He's a Norse god. He wouldn't saY "this is earth" it would be "oh no....this is Midgarde, isn't it?"
Him saying "this is Earth" makes him sound like he's from a different plante, not a different, yet connected, dimension.
They'd probably think he was talking about a moderately-priced, moderately-effective deodorant.

Thats the worst line in the trailer. I hope we don't hear any more Australian (Melbourne) accent in Thor's dialogue. Marvel's getting really lazy with continuity re: Marvel portrayals. There was a time once when actors and actresses... (I'm looking at you Scarlett Johansson! ) actually attempted authentic accents.
Oh,.... and 7-page Thor set visit courtesy: Superherohype.com.
There is a part of the comic-con trailer that was withdrawn ( but linked on my signature) that shows something (a prop) that in-turn gives a clue to how the stories of Thor and Captain America and everything else converges for the Avengers link up (technology & plot-wise). I can't say anymore than that.
(Damn Marvel NDA).
I wouldn't be surprised if Natalie's performance is not the sharpest in the film, lets face it everyones going to fall short of Antony Hopkins' Odin.
I just hope she's better than in the Star Wars prequels, ... good grief she so was wooden.
I also hope we don't get too much of Chris' "Oh no this is Earth.. Isn't it!" Thorstralian™ accent, I'm hoping it was an anomaly and its not noticable throughout the rest of the film.
I hope the story rocks for Green Lantern because the trailer was disappointing!, never should of cast Reynolds in the role!.
I'm also disappointed because this is a Martin Campbell film and Casino Royale was utterly sublime as a Bond film and my personal favourite!.
Anyone know if it was filmed in 3d (like avatar) or a **** digital conversion from 2d to 3d?
Actually, Christopher Nolan has commented that 3-D conversion can look just as good as filming in 3-D if the studio takes the time and effort to get it right. It's only when they half-*** it (Clash of the Titans) that it looks bleh.
That said, I have no idea if they filmed in the format or not.

Filmed simultaneously in both 3D & 2D formats.
Although the 3D treatment can be an interesting experience when it enhances a film, I don't like the inevitable colour cast when donning the shades. I much prefer the bright richness of colour that is the 2D filming process. I'll be getting this on 2D Blu-Ray.
