AND I DUG IT!!! Seriously awesome old school ninja-flick cool w/ some old west thrown in for spice..

It was awesome...

That being said if you need an "artsy fartsy deep emotional plot with conjecture and pretentious drivel, and other chick flicky trappings " this is not the movie you're looking for.

Sounds like good weekend matinee fare to me!

I'm sold.

loved the concept, but the trailer looked a little too obviously CGI for me.

If the NERDVERSE embraces it I may end up checking it out.

One of the few sites I trust for reviews basically said it was a entertaining movie despite how horribly bad it was(boneheaded dialog, overacting to the point of embarrassment, cartoonish). Sounds like a good movie to have in my Netflix queue for when I might be stuck at home during the weekend. Probably add Ninja Assassin to make it a mindlessly violent and entertaining double feature.

My wife just rolls her eyes every time I mention it, so yeah, I'll probably be renting it by myself someday.

My wife watched the trailer and insisted on seeing this with me.

We both loved it.

And it made an epic sized $3.05 million at the box office this weekend. That means it made less than Jonah Hex, Dragonball Evolution, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Punisher: War Zone. Let that sink in.

I saw as much from the trailer and it looked like it was deliberate.

Bellow $2000 per theater on it's opening weekend. That's sad.

But it did beat MacGruber per theater so that's something (except that MacGruber had only a $10 million production cost and The Warrior's Way was $42 million). Have to see how well it does in Asia.

And with a budget of $45 million (according to IMDB), ouch.

This is in my Netflix queue, but I don't think I'll have time to see it in theaters.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

I went and saw this last night, myself. It was very stupid, and very entertaining. I do not regret the money spent.

I would have been one of those to go see it too, except that the bastages that run the theaters around here didn't offer it to watch.

Oh well, at least Harry Potter was good...

The trailer made it look like CGI junk. There is no way that I'd see it in a theater; I can see why it's bombing.

The only reason that I'm at all interested in it is due to the comments in this thread. They should have either done better work with the CGI, or have kept the CGI at a minimum and went wire-fu with this one.
