As I understand it, you started off sans super powers in a gang in that iteration of CoV and worked you way up to getting super powers through missions and story arcs. This was rightly changed due to it being too constraining, storywise, compared to City of Heroes.
Would you have liked to have been a mook for x levels with no superpowers?
Yup. Then again, most of my alts aren't "super." :P

I remember that as the age of Jack promising things that he couldn't deliver. I also remember it as the days of nerfdom.

Although, to be fair, the devs who became Paragon Studios are quite brilliant. They were also smart enough to leave Cryptic far behind

"Consensual" is a really really weird word to use for PvP.

Mostly the same as we have now; some small differences. Honestly, I think I would have preferred the name "The Fallen Isles." But interesting enough, like Ghost Falcon mentioned, side switching was planned with CoV's release. Would have loved to have brought my villain to Paragon and be flagged (or not) for PvP.
