Which way to Perez Park

I have a mission that takes me to Perez Park. However, I can not seem to make it there! All routes to Perez Park via tunnels, gates, trains... are all blocked! (Actually, I can't seem to find a train that even goes there). This is not the first time something I have looked for does not seem to be available.

Can anyone help me out?

btw... I am playing a 14th level character, if that has anything to do with it.

You have to click on the Security guard in that little tunnel that leads there to be granted access.

You can get there from Atlas, Galaxy, Skyway, Steel, an SG base Transporter, or Mission Transporter.

Perez Park used to be a level restricted hazard zone, so it has gates and security guards that used to prevent lower level characters from entering. There is no longer the restriction however to enter them you still have to click on the security guard at the gates to enter. You can't just walk through the gate, you must click the guard.

Usually below the waist too for some reason.

Hi,

and getting the cursor to change to the "Click" mode at the Guards can be a bit tricky as the cursor position is quite location sensitive.

Seriously, the best way to activate it is to hover around the crotch area of the guards. Silly but true I am afraid!

Oh and enjoy Perez but be careful, bad dudes live there!

He said his character is level 14. The only thing in there that would be a threat is the snot monster GM and then only is he stumbled across it when it spawned..

I actually thought about it and decided not to list it because it's not a combat zone just like I left out Oroborus.

Tho I should have added the Midnighters Club.

The map in Atlas will show you Perez Park. It's the red dot on the map. (not the hollows one)

You are missing other obvious ones though...
Striga and Peregrine Island!

Then the PvP zones...
Siren's Call
Bloody Bay
Warburg
Recluse's Victory

Then Villain zones...
Mercy Island, Port Oakes, Sharkhe... oh do these not count? lol

How about Outbreak, Breakout, and Precinct 5? j.k

Edit:
I just remembered another one:
Lord Winter's Realm! woo-hoo!

It sounds like you aren't very familiar with the game. Those zones are connected by Ferry's that serve the same purpose as the monorail. So no, those don't count.

You can add them to the list if you can explain how the OP can enter those zones without using an Oro mission, an AE mission, or the Character Creator.

Lord Winter's Realm is a collection of 5 winter maps of Croatoa.

I chose not to list them since 95% of the player base never uses them.

A Ferry is not a Train. I was largely joking by being literal. Normal people would have realized that by the way I wrote it. None of the zones I listed have Train access. It's as simple as that. Lighten up. I really have to LOL that you would say I'm not familiar with the game. Anybody here knows that's not the case. You obviously haven't been paying attention.

On a side note, it seemed we were referring to heroside only, and I was obviously joking about using the Vilainside zones to begin with, but if we were to include them for consideration, I'll add Monster Island and The Abyss.

Even though I agree the Ferry on Villainside servers the same purpose as the Heroside Train lines, I'm going to disagree with you that PI's Ferry serves the same purpose as well. The Train lines in CoH allow you to travel to multiple destinations from multiple locations. The Ferry in PI is only accessible from a single Ferry in Talos. Mechanically, that makes it no different than the security gate leading to DA as back and forth travel. If I'm going to use your point of view on the situation, then RWZ should no longer be included on your list because the Portals can serve the same purpose as the train too (though a little clunky). You can't have it both ways.

Just because the maps were derived from an existing zone, doesn't mean the game doesn't treat them as their own zones. Again.. largely a joke. Just because you are creating your own rules for why certain zones should be excluded from the list, doesn't mean everybody needs to follow them.

I accept your apology. No harm no foul.

An apology for your own mistake? LOL That's a good one! I knew you had a sense of humor.

You're in the right spot and asking here is fine, but you might get answers for stuff like this faster if you just broadcast ("/b question here") your question in Atlas Park or similar well populated zone.

Unless you're on a trial account... those can't broadcast.

No take backs. You apologized, even if it was by accident.
