Sure that's what it's for but many times I've seen people have a hard time getting help there because jacktards hijack the channel and shout down people trying to get help or when asked to take their conversations/arguments elsewhere.

A problem with the help channel in game is that if you click on the Help tab and try to type, you get a weird error message. The Help tab is still bound by default to the /help command, not /hc. This is not noob friendly.

I have never, ever seen anyone shouted down in the help channel for asking a relevant question.
