You have posted a graph from a link that gives no indication of it's connection with game.

Did i say you made it up? I just said i'm not sure where you got it since i didn't see those exact numbers in the quarterly report...maybe calculated from them?
The graph may be factual but unless you can provide a link to an NCSoft website that confirms it's authenticity it proves nothing. As far as I can tell that graph looks like part of a report from an import/export company listing the number of shipping accounts they have and the income they made each quarter.
Facts without context are worthless.
He seems very evasive so not sure you'll get a link from him. But in general...NCSoft's quarterly reports are here

They stopped carrying the 2004 reports though but you can get those numbers from 2005. And they stopped publishing the server access numbers after 3Q 2008.
All sales figures are in korean won and not US dollars...hence my last comment that i don't know where/how he got the red line figures in his chart.
Here's your context. Embrace the change. everybody is switching to F2P as a means of survival. If there are possible outcomes that are going to sour what you hold dear I would suggest getting a move to preserve what you are attached to.
Those numbers, that graph, its only purpose is to say "not IF but WHEN"
Not hard to figure out really.

They stopped publishing their subscriber numbers because OTHER corporations running MMOs stopped reporting their numbers in their quarterly reports.
There's only 1 company that keeps reporting their subscriber numbers, but that's simply so they can go NEENER NEENER NEEEEEE NEEEEEEER

Anything is possible, but i try not to include possible ulterior motives onto posts. I just base my reply to posts based on its contents.
Hope no one judges me by my short post history 
I can't justify two accounts at the moment so i let my main lapse, i kept this one because it has more free character slots hehe.

On a more casual note, as much as I like you guys and gals, you are about 6 months late to this F2P bizz. Nothing hostile.
I find that if you don't have an agenda, if you don't get involved with your community, if you don't voice and make a noise about what you want to keep...
when it DOES change, you are gonna lose and its gonna SUCK. Not IF but WHEN.
My "agenda" is to get something done for bases. One of the two things that can keep this game alive.
That should tell you who I am if the craziness doesn't.

This particular forum software records the IP address of the posting computer as each post as it's made, so unless a sock-puppet goes through the trouble of posting from a completely different network access point they will still be leaving a tag of their "real" identify on each post.

Like everyone else, I have my own opinions about going F2P, but I don't see much reason to get involved in a discussion where the rules forbid real-life, pertinent examples.
