Don't lose heart. There's been a pile of these through here lately - many many more than usual. It may take you a bit longer to sell this one because of it.

I guess it comes down to how much time is three billion worth to you. I've gotten to where I can do my five tippies plus the alignment mish in 12-15 minutes. It takes me less than a half hour of game time to get one hero merit, soloing on this one toon. So... if I spend roughly 16 hours of game time, spread out over 70 days, I can have one of my own just like it.
It'll take a while, but three billion is a good deal of influence. I'd buy one for two billion right now, but three is too high, in my opinion, for something I can quite easily get on my own, albeit over a long period of time.

Why do people feel compelled to come to these threads and give long *** explanations about why they aren't going to buy the item?
I mean really - its an item for sale - not "let's debate what its worth or who would pay what amount for it" now is it?
The guy is asking 3 bil. You want to offer 2, offer it and move on. If you don't think its worth 3 bil *gasp* don't buy it.
It really does feel like the prices on these have been coming down, but I don't track them very closely. It takes a long time, but we are now seeing people selling AM generated PvP (custom level, even!) for 2bn. I don't have the patience to roll my own, but then again, I don't have a character I need to twink badly enough to spend a couple of bn inf on them.

Personally I've not optimized anyone to run tips- certainly not to the point where I can keep my tip jar full AND run five missions in fifteen minutes. I've learned from the Eden trial, among others, that if someone claims to be able to do things insanely fast... they usually can.
So 16 hours spread over 70 days gets you a shiny PVP of your own. I don't really know what I make on the market, but I estimate around 150 million a day. It's probably a little more than half an hour a day even when I'm not futzing around, because I run two marketers twice a day (roughly) with a 5 minute timer on the invention table. Let's say I make 100M a day if I limit myself to 30 min/day (because my timer runneth over, always.) So my 16 hours gets me, over a month, around 3.2 billion inf.
For me it's worth 3.2 Bn, logically, while for Puce it's worth... whatever 16 hours of clock time and two months of elapsed time is worth to them.

It just bothers me that people feel obligated to tell you that you're charging too much. When I had one of these for sale, I received offers through the forums and a couple in game. However, I received about 4x that number from people who told me I was "charging too much" and that the IO "wasn't worth it". I also received a slew of "I'm not paying that much for it because I can get one for X". Mine still sold for what I was asking for it. *boggle*
Its irritating to the seller and irrational. No one goes to a car dealer and says "Hey, I have no interest in ever buying one of your cars, but come over here while I tell you why you're charging too much and why someone will never pay you that much for it." Yet people feel compelled to do it here.

" then I would have little to gripe about.However, as I asked earlier, why do people feel that they must come here, point out that they personally would never pay that much, explain the 800 different reasons why they would never pay that much, then carefully explain to the OP what they would pay for the item which is generally about half of what the person is asking for it? This is the part that irritates me. Like I said - if you don't want to buy it or make an offer - why speak up at all? It is not actually helpful to the OP and generally just takes the form of "Ur dum 4 selling that 4 that price".
Edit: Now that I think about it a bit - the OP did sort of ask why his wasn't selling - so I can sort of see a discussion about relevant costs - I still don't understand the need to essay about why you won't buy one.

Also, at the end of my post I told him that I would pay two billion for it, further helping the OP understand where the market is for that item.
What I hate are people who criticize other posters for reasons not worth the keystrokes it took to type it out. If there is a thread-jacker in this thread, it's you my friend.

It's a discussion forum so people are here to discuss it. If you don't like people having a discussion on the topic at hand then maybe you need to reconsider why you are here.
People can contribute with their own valuation of the good and there is no right or wrong answer. The good has a utility different to each person.
And this is why people hate the market forum. So much hatred here! Can't we all get along and swim in piles of inf together?
I'm just suprised nobody is trying to buy up all of these and then flip them for 4B..you know to provide a consistent supply and all *cough*......I mean come on guys...its the market forums and all.
I won't pay 3B....but thats just cause I have 3 toons who are all going to crank one of these out in the next week or so.

I was slightly surprised it hadn't sold because I've seen several passing through here for at least 3BN and all have sold pretty quickly.
I acquired it (them actually, I have two) because it was the only way I was ever going to see one (I wouldn't pay that much for one, I'd rather have a bucket of other IOs instead and don't PvP). I realised a lot of these might hit the market so am perfectly happy to slot them if I can't find somebody prepared to pay what I want.
