This thread is for status updates and overhead requests: "I put in 2 billion inf, I deserve a promotion" or "Anyone for doing a Sister Psyche at 8 Eastern?" or "I need an invite for Annie Warbucks" or whatever. (Hey, I wonder if that's taken?)

8:35 AM Eastern, Friday, Sep. 24, less than 24 hours in: The Crazy 88s (Virtue division) are over 15 million prestige, about 30% of the way to the #100 slot (and about 3% of the way to #1!)

Potlatch and Lucre the First need promotions to Truly Ebil Marketeer.

There is also a Guardian division- of the four variant names, you'll know them by their Prestige count. Feel free to kick some inf over @Cyvert's way; he's doing this more or less alone, a little support would be nice.

Oh, and we've got a new term for destroying inf: 88'ing it.

Warning, do not look directly at the Vulture Capitalist while it is break dancing and/or grabbing its crotch. Some side effects, including pants wetting and muscle pulls, may occur.

Lucre needs a new costume. I think I will up my contributions again tonight. So fun talking to everyone.

I'm going to be doing a little experiment with Capitalist- seeing how much prestige he can generate with an absolute minimum of leveling.

So is there some other way that I can contribute with Lucre? I could always level-lock him or something.

I see that neither of you spent any influence on design school. I admire a self-taught, er, whatever you are!

I call dibs on designing the shadowy meeting room where we discuss what prices to set for Chaos Theorems.

My sculpture speaks about the eternal quest for money. I built it using finely crafted floor safes deploying magical antigravity fields to stay aloft. As you trek upwards on the flights of safes you begin to forget about eevrything except..
wait what? its a bunch of safes in a pattern which amused me for the half hour it took to make.

Edit: The porters will need beacons. I know how to get them, but am not up for doing it again =( if someone has a 50 that can run around and grab em, that would be swell.

Ok - Here's what went down

I created all of the requested rooms.

I created all of the rooms needed to make those rooms work.

I dropped "example" items in med lab. I have no decorating inclination, so someone will have to work with that. The med lab is the largest size available. Your other choices are 1x2 and 2x2. We have a 4x4. (Thank you for the messed up sizes devs!)

The control room needs to be decorated. I have dropped the required items to reach the needed level of control (I think). I am going to earn a badge tonight and upgrade that tomorrow just to be sure.

The energy room also needs to be decorated. I am arbitrarily picking a Tech theme for it. I find the Tier II energy item for arcane ugly *shrug*. If you opt to decorate the energy room and don't want to do tech, I can hook you up with how to make the arcane Tier II - We will definitely need it.

I can make porters, but someone will need to offer to decorate that room and they will have to let me know if they want Arcane or Tech porters. It makes a difference. They're crafted, not simply purchased. If whoever wants to decorate wants to make the porters, great!

There is a functioning vault directly above the crafting tables, as requested. We have enhancement and salvage storage on the off chance someone wants to use it. Perhaps for holding overstock while shifting - idk.

Any additional rooms we add will be "fluff". As we require no more rooms to function.

I changed the plot. It was the largest non-secure plot available. We need a secure one to allow 2 energy items and 2 control items to be placed. I didn't pick the largest 'cause it would have actually put a really big chunk in our prestige. Those things are spendy! lol! If anyone changes the plot, please make sure you get a "secure" plot.

After MUCH jostling and grumbling, I was able to save the safe room. The head / hands room bit it about 30 seconds in. Sorry

There is a rather large workshop sitting off of the functional workshop. Please don't decorate this yet. Its temporary and needed for crafting base items. Tech stuff needs to be made on tech tables - arcane on arcane. If someone is feeling ambitious, we could use a workshop for each kind that has all 3 "forges / tables". If not, I will continue to swap out the ones in that room as needed.

I just formed an alliance with my 1-man SG "Market Forces". I don't know if it will help at all, but it can't hurt!

edit: I removed the alliance because I was embarrassed at how awful my base was!

Yes, it is based on total. I held back and left the lot smaller so people would have money to decorate with. Also, the super computers (which I just bought x2 for our control needs) are 500k each. The "nice" stuff adds up fast.

Need decorating volunteers for the following:

Large Teleporter Room
Medium Teleporter Room
Medical Bay
Energy Room (Items in place are not removable - they can be relocated)
Control Room (Items in place are not removable - they can be relocated and Aux items can be swapped if you maintain the same level of control. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, just work with what's in there already and add a nice plant or something )


I have (once again) arbitrarily decided to make the Teleport Rooms Arcane in theme. I will be making and dropping all of the porters tonight as no one has said anything one way or the other. Personally I prefer the Tech, but my observations seem to indicate that I am in the minority there.

Need the following:

Beacons for pretty much everywhere. We have the first 3 I believe (Atlas, Kings, and ummm the other one), but we'll eventually need the rest.

A pie. I'm seriously hungry. Pie sounds good.

That's it for now I believe.

You were asked when I went to make em =P No answer from you - arcane it is!

They're not hard to make - or expensive - just a giant pain in the backside when they take 3 salvage each, we need 12 of them, and I can only carry 15 salvage.

That reminds me...

Fulmens,

Please expend the permissions on the storage in the workshop right off the entrance. At this time, only you can put things in and take them out.

And I think you'll have to do that for every storage item that gets put into the base. Its... good to be king?

up to 9.4m prestige so far on guardian.

I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.
