Put me in the its intense, changing incarnate testing. And I look forward to the results.

There could be a powerset or two, and maybe some proliferation.

This has been mentioned, sure, but the OP pretty much nailed all there true 'most requested' features.

server merge? not likely. They'll play with cross server teaming (mentioned in the video) before any merge. this is a deceased equine.

I speculate that there will be stuff in i20 that makes some people happy and some people disappointed. And they will post their opinions on the forums about how they are so disappointed that they will cancel their account, how stupid the devs are for breaking the game, and will declare to the masses that they will never play CoH ever again. I predict that this trend will occur from issue 20 all the way to issue 80 and beyond.

Hows that for generalizing..

Well I can understand some people not realizing I was joking, especially if they aren't familiar with me and my general position on things. And I didn't give any indication of sarcasm(other than the ridiculous predictions that is).

But for a moment I did consider arguing for my predictions for ***** and giggles.

It's that one PU signature.
They see the big red grin and those eyes and they are afraid if they don't take what you say to heart the explosives or toxic gas will be coming soon.

Usually I'm better at interpretting online sarcasm, but I admit I missed it completely this time.

I have no excuse really, I was probably lulled into a knee jerk 'stop them' reaction because I have actually seen those very things seriously asked for too many times... or maybe I needed more sleep... or maybe... um, the sun was in my eyes

i think we'd definitely see high end praetorian content, otherwise what would be the point of having all these reworked arch villains. potentially some interaction with the hamitorian as well.

at the same time, the well of the fury's and state's background suggests a place in cimerora as the start of incarnate levels of power.

it will be interesting to see just how many elements come together during these next few issues and the direction it takes from there. with the time traveling oro and the coming storm, the time traveled cim and the origins of the phalanx, the alt universe/timeline praetoria, there's definitely some elements for interesting interaction, or at least story exploration there.

with the new function of locking out contacts available in praetoria would it be possible to not just lock out a contact, but change a contact's available mission set to suggest change according to how you play the game? and while likely very difficult, could this be extended to areas of zones or entire zones? for instance, you've gone back in time and managed to prevent the worst of the rikti war, how does the rwz change in response? or even an instanced version of it? far from an easy task obviously, but this is the speculation thread..... ;p

I say lots of new lv50 content so our characters have something to do.

Here is a big one........ Cross Server Teaming. No matter where you are, you and friends can play together.

Also I would like to see the world changed. I want to see a massive overhaul. Rework zones like IP and the hazard zones that aren't used by many people. I never go to IP other than the STF and when some random mission sends me to that zone.

Heck we have TWO wars that are going to happen. The Praetorian's and the Coming Storm. What a better way to load up I20 than Emperor Cole and his friends have invaded Paragon / Rogue Isles leaving destruction and chaos in their path? Don't give me the but but but old content being removed.... when was the last time you ran anything in AP from the beginning contacts??? Or in KR for that matter? If it doesn't give a badge you need for an Accolade you don't do it. Those old missions are bad, really bad. Clear them out and make way on the servers for something better, Oro is for running the old arcs.

Not your fault. I intentionally hid my sarcasm to see the reactions.

I've seen those things suggested several times too, which is why I picked them.

Unless they do a story rewrite, I think there's going to be a gap between 20 and whichever level any new Praetorian content starts at.

I know that is probably what they're going to call them... but it brings peat to mind, and I just can't get into playing as soil.

The PEATs will be a new AT: Buffing/Orbital Guardian.
They'll be able to choose one of several buff/debuff sets as their primary, but the secondary be an orbital cannon themed attack set. The majority of attacks are AoE with mez/debuff secondary effects. PEAT BOGs will in some ways have aspects of the VEATs, and in other ways use HEAT mechanics.

The serious NDA could be due to:

1) a certain competing game about to arrive, necessitating a need for tighter control on new ideas

2) the contingency plan if CoH slumps due to (1), where I20 or an issue close to it will be the end of the game, where the Coming Storm arrives in the form of the Preatorian invasion army, switching off all med teleporters, causing a last stand throughout the game where the Devs get to dress up as Preatorians, kill us all off and leave a few celebrated survivors of the game (giving them free lifetime subscriptions to CoH 2! ).

The only other thing that is so awesome as to require a special NDA would be if they released the Nemesis pony as a pet or special NPC.

I like the idea of new player models. Maybe I'll finally get to be a Tarantula Mistress.
