The Stig exposes himself!
Most likely. So, time for another experiment with nitrous?
What color do you think his replacement is going to be? I kind of want a red Stig.

I'm not good at giving advice, can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?
@Lyrik
I'd reckon his stint was over at the end of the last season and the nda (whatever it was) was lifted.
Indeed it is. I don't understand why he felt it was necessary to do this(maybe to sell his book...).

On the other hand, it really doesn't matter who the Stig is, its not that interesting (its never going to turn out to be Bill Clinton or Bruce Campbell or Red Rum or Elvis or anyone you have ever heard of). Its the fact that almost no-one knows who he is that makes it interesting. So, they can just get a new Stig, and it'll still have the same mystique.
Always remember, we were Heroes.
Yep, gonna need another Stig now.

From what i've read, it seems to be a money thing. All the other presenters get to profit off of top gear with their DVDs, other programmes, books, public appearances. But the guy who plays the Stig can't.

What a pillock. It's just not cool. Hopefully the BBC can take him for breach of contract.
Is it wrong that I the voice that reads that line to me in my head sounds like Jeremy Clarkson?

(Also, I think it's going to be a Red Stig too. And yeah, the guy's a dunderhead for breach of contract. Does money really matter when you get to be the friggin' Stig?!)
Making money from a book...or...knowing that your the Stig while everyone else doesn't?
...Is there any real contest there? The latter, every time. Shoulda stuck to his contract.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Good news, everyone! I've invented a machine that makes people read sentences in the voice of those typically saying the first three words!

Speaking of the subject of the thread... bollocks. I certainly hope that Top Gear finds a replacement, because I don't see Mr. Collins keeping his current job after fighting his employers in court. Hope the book deal was worth it :/
Well I was wrong again. Top Gear took him to court to suppress his book but lost and Clarkson said in an interview a couple days ago that he's been sacked.
Top Gear better draw up better legal agreements in future.
No, not like that, you pervs!
Man behind the helmet tells the world in his autobiography!
Ok, granted, Daily Mail website, but if this is true......what a pillock!!
He signed a confidentiality contract and wants to tell the world whilst he's still wearing the outfit?
What amuses me most is the publisher bloke saying it's a triumph for freedom of speech......wtf??
New Stig for next series?
