While I'm usually really good with stereoscopic images, the white space between the 2 images is screwing things up for me.
The example in the link you have has no space between right and left images.

I admit that i have played with stereo images for awile so it might be harder for some to put them together then they were for me, it essentially ends up working the same wether there is a space or not as long as they align

Ok, took a bit more "work" but I got Ouro to work. Wow! The difference between the the 3D and what the screenshot is is phenomenal. I'd love it if 3D ever came into the mix here.
(although, aren't we all in a 3D world when we're in game?)

"If"? All you need is the right drivers and a beefy enough graphics card and there's no "if" in this. Of course, this is completely unsupported and will likely take some computer magic to get to work, but if you really want CoH in stereoscopic 3D, it's by no means impossible. It's just an OpenGL output after all. Those can be intercepted.

Erm, ShadowNate, your images are in two different formats. The skyway, DATA lab, and pocket D images require you to go wall-eyed, while the ouro image requires you to cross your eyes. I don't know about anyone else, but while for me it's relatively easy to see cross-eyed stereoscopic images, I find it nearly impossible to make my eyes go wall-eyed to see the other type. Would it be possible for you to do a left-right swap on the three wall-eyed images and create cross-eyed versions so I can see them?

I don't know what kind of acrobatic robot eyes you think I have, but those images are way too big for me to get a stereoscopic image going.
Issue 16 made me feel like this.

What if CoH was in 3D? I'd recommend buying stock in aspirin companies because of all the headaches I'd be getting.

on the "walleyed" thing....Eh. Splitting hairs, it still works the same in the end and the 3D that causes really bad eyestrain (and thus headaches) is the kind that try and make things fly out or use the red and blue glasses, it confuses the eyes, 3d in the style of looking through a window with a fairly neutral focal point is pretty pleasant to look at.
I have been looking for these drivers you mentioned and I can't find any that imply the ability to use it with software that does not have the feature built in.
Well the idea of having the ability to see the game with depth is what im pushing here.

You know, anything that gives me a headache just trying to see it and requires hard practice to even acknowledge is not something I care for. Regular foggy glasses 3D is bad enough on my health, I don't need to go crosseyed in the search for even more gimmicks.

3D will be the norm sooner or later... I plan on getting pixel lenses or whatever they are called as soon as they are affordable. With those types of things, there is no reason for TVs, monitors to do 3D...let alone exist
Consider that the human eye can only process 300dpi and eyes are less than 1 inch... we have the tech for infinite resolution and 3D at fairly cheap prices... after all the only thing that will cost is the surgery and that's getting cheaper and cheaper.
Graphically speaking a graphics card today... the power is well... pretty worthless to us in the near future since we won't need all that much. My PC's resolution is something like 68dpi and i use a Radeon HD5770 so... we're talking about roughly two 5x5 inch screens that totally takes up your field of vision. That's pretty much 1/2 the power I'm using right now and my screen is probably 1/2 the power my card can produce which is probably a fair bit less powerful that the top of the line cards out there and a long way from a 4 card display.
I doubt CoH will ever have 3D but it would be really easy to make it 3D... I could probably literally make a 3D CoH video using the dual display technique ^.^ it's not that hard...
I have no depth perception at all. I HATE 3D stuff.

What you don't have is (presumably) stereopsis, which is only one of the dozen or so techniques your brain uses to judge depth. Unfortunately, it is also the only technique that current-generation 3D displays use.
I...can't get the images to blend. Any of them, even on that page you linked. Is that what we're trying to do here? Crossing my eyes just splits them up further. And it's all giving me a headache.
I believe I'd have to bow out of any such "feature" in this game.

Took me a few seconds to get it down but once I did, my eyes locked in & everything settled so I was no longer forcing it & could view the image as if looking at a normal picture.
Yeah, the one you listed as your personal favorite was mine as well. Nice depth there.

Add me to the list of folks without stereoscopic vision. I'm glad to see I'm not alone (though my sympathies to those who share my "view").
I absolutely hate the hype surrounding 3-D these days - those fancy-schmancy glasses don't do anything to enhance my movie (or gaming) experience at all.
Pass the "boo-boo-profen" down this way, please.

On a side note I really am surprised by how many who cannot see 3d images. Its kinda depressing actually but I have a feeling that its the thread itself that is attracting those who cannot rather then the results of a random sample. It is easier to post a complaint after all.

I have two working eyes and look up these type of images online form time to time...I can't get yours to work.

I don't want technology which requires me to suffer through pain, possibly incur permanent damage as I already have from forcing my eyes too far to the side one too many times, and fight through "training" just to be able to see the god damn thing. I would sooner take filter lens 3D over this crap, because while filter lens 3D gives me headaches, at least it doesn't damage my eyes as far as I can tell, and I'm able to see normally just as soon as I take off the glasses.
And I HATE filter lens 3D. My eyes are very capable of telling the difference between actual depth perception and optical illusion, which is what gives me headaches. I'd much sooner deal with flat 3D or Lisar's cheating flat 3D technology than anything which tries to fool my brain into seeing depth that isn't there.

Some are better then others, I had to sorta improvise the effect by playing with the camera in first person, the one in Pocket D VIP and Ouro are the best imo. I tried doing more outside zones but they came out alittle too blurry (from the moving sky and other things) and the effect was alittle too minimal to be really appreciate as a still image.
