I can understand wanting to play with more "Mature" people, but I do think his initial request does sound a bit more dating specific. Here on the net, how do you know that someone is a 35+ year old female and not a 13 yeasr old sumarian goat demon. You don't.
People play with who they want to, no big deal.
Now as to the 35+ Female gamers, yeah they are interesting and cool critters.

I think most people are just joking a bit cause it reads funny. Most likely not ment that way at all and as you said might be another women looking for friends or just a male player looking for a friend. The way it's worded sounds like a date ad so thus gets a good ribbing. To me the way it's worded it sounds like a male which is a good majority of this population so a safer bet. Personally I just think it's silly teasing and see nothing wrong with asking to play with a female, I mean we do rock so who wouldn't want to play with us.
Heck if it where on Justice or Freedom I would be perfectly happy to team with whoever. I do have Virtue toons but just havn't gotten a chance to revisit my first server again

Thanks to those that sent me a PM and I appreciate it. Actually I would feel more comfortable with someone near my same age. Just that females around my age seem more easy going. From my experience so far on this game. If I wanted to date a female playing COH. I guess I could of just asked for a date from a female COH player. For now it is just to play the game on a regular basis. Dating can come later if we get along on that level.
