A group of vigilantes and I defeated Deathsurge last night and didn't get a badge. However we also defeated 100 gremlins and did get a defeat badge for that. Is this a bug?

Also the Villainous badge in AE is not being awarded as well

I think getting the Heroic and Villainous badges in AE require a full alignment shift
First - thank you Snow Globe for collating all this info - it's fantastic and useful.
I do have a question about one of the new badges for Praetoria:
1) This morning I swam through Praetoria for the River Rat badge and when I finished I thought I'd try to go off-map to hit the sonic curtain and suicide express back to a hospital and pick up the Denial of Service badge as well. I was able to get to the curtain (off the western coast of Neutropia) and die/catch a free ride to the hospital, but there was no badge awarded. Is there a recommended place to try and go through the curtain or is there something else I'm missing?

Also, what article about the protesters? I'm not finding anything, and there wasn't anything implemented for defeating the protesters.

Oh, and since I didn't see any mention here, you can get Eye of the Storm as a level 50 Hero from the "An Unstable Detonator" tip mission. Maelstrom appears in the Hero choice from that tip, and the way that the Vigilante choice is worded, I assume he's there, too. |

Just wanted to post a follow-up. On Ms. Mesmer's advice, I decided to run more missions, and the final contact in the Neutropolis Warden chain DID have a Failed Experiments mission. Got my badge, handling this last gasp of Praetorian business, then I'm off to Primal Earth, where the supervillains at least have the good sense not to believe their own propaganda. Thanks!

I've made it all the way to the standard glowing blue wall heading directly north from both Nova Praetoria and Neutropolis. No badge. Are there perhaps only a limited number of spots where you can earn this one?

Just keep running down the road toward the trees. You'll hit the suppression field and start taking damage. I was at about 1/3 health when there was a "pop", I earned the badge, and the damage stopped. You can then turn around and head back up the road the way you came without damage.

Okay so I went to the psych island for the mercy missionary badge and cannot seem to get out. I have clicked on every door but they all say I cannot enter, what am I missing?

This worked for me as well, easy enough to see where on the map. I used no heals or insps [think I had a regen bonus though] and had little health left out of 320 - 330 [or whatever a level 21 dominator has]
Something to note, while you can probably get Denial of Service in more places the higher level you are (due to having a bigger health pool), I figured I should note that I was only level 10 (Dominator) or so when I got it from Imperial City's road to nowhere. I had previously tried that peninsula in Nova early on but failed to get it then.
