Are you EU side perchance?

There is a 12 hour maintence period today US side. Since the Market and Mission Architect systems are part of that they are down as well, for both the US and EU sides.

For your CoH character: There used to be a 60 day interface requirement where if you didn't log on to your character and check Wentworth's every 60 days, your stuff would be removed. That 60 day rule is gone, but if it was long enough ago, you could have lost it back then and just didn't notice until now when you finally logged in
But this theory would only hold if you have not logged in for many months.

You're not going to win that war. Just let it go.
You can't win if you quit. BBQ_Pork is right.

He's not "right". He's also not "wrong". There is no right or wrong, people will call their little virtual dolls whatever they want to call them. Avatars, toons, characters, virtual dolls... they're *all* right, and *none* of them are "wrong".

Nope. Some of them are wrong.

However, which are wrong is dependent on the observer.

No. None of them are "wrong". They are all appropriate terms for the figure you (general you) play in a video game.

Some may think they don't belong in this game, but that doesn't make the terms "wrong".

I also think that your stuff is only safe after 60 days for active accounts. Havent tested, but iirc 60 days on an inactive account can wipe your inventory.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Stuff on auction will not be wiped if your account is active. If it's inactive for more than 90 days, you lose!

This argument is still around?

I should start calling them "dollies" all the time.

Dec out.

Nope. You don't get to define what other people see as appropriate.

In the same way that you don't get to tell others what's appropriate for them to call their TOONS!

Especially since it's of no importance whatsoever. You call your dollies what you want and I'll call mine what I want.

It's not of no importance. Actually, the term people use reveals something about their attitudes towards the game.

As posts in a discussion forum reveal a facet of a poster's personality.

Please explain this. I'm extremely curious.

All actions reveal something about the actor, that's psych 101.

What a person labels an object reveals something about the way that person views the object.

All the rest is extrapolation.

Agge, if I may, I would like to politely ask on behalf of my fragile male ego if you could refrain from calling our characters "dolls" and instead use the the more manly term "action figures". I find the your accurate terminology disturbs my calm when I realize that using the costume creator I'm basically playing "dress up" with my Ken and Barbies.

In other words "I'm just using a baseless assumption"

Avatar and Toon has had the same meaning in MMOs for however long...but I guess some take issue with the word "toon" because it's too kiddy for them/they take themself too seriously.

You wouldn't have better luck trying to disprove our characters aren't toons. They're essentially digitally created media...wait a minute, a certain company comes to mind who's famous for their digital media...oh hello there Pixar.

I am incredibly sorry to insinuate that you play with "dolls", F_P. Of course, "action figures". Of course.

I read your post to my boyfriend, who is currently playing WoW. He said he agreed with you, told me to never call them "dolls" in his presence, and then said, "Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go play with my dolls in the fantasy set over here."

Did you tell him that he just won this thread?
