What power pools do you find you use regularly on different ATs?

Do you stick to these sets for just certain Archetypes or for all your toons?

I try to do something different with each toon but in the end they turn out very similar.

Sometimes when i activate this game The updater stays on "connecting...... "

This mostly happens in the day but sometimes happens in the evening. Sometimes if i restart comp then try again its fine other times I just assume maybe the whole game is offline.

This doesnt always mean it wont get there, activated game 20 mins ago but didnt get past updater, after a few restarts its still the same but its now at "connecting ‡11". Maybe in a few hours I may get online or I may just give up and log on to wow.

Anyone else get this or know how to get round it?

On intel Mac, OS10.5.8

If this is happening I will not be ably my lvl 50 scrapper agian. The slightest tap forward moves me to other side of room buffed with SB and thats without sprint on. This buff is counterproductive for melee toons.

I started lvling a corruptor way before going rogue but only recently got to lvl 20. Done this mainly solo as the times I play there are no teams red side. So i want to change sides where I have friends to team with. Only problem is that I have done 3 rogue tip missions so far and cannot complete any more. My corruptor is archery/cold dom which is best archer i have tried for survivability apart from half of my cold dom are only useful to other players. I got lvl set to -1, and the mobs I am equivalent to is 1 so all settings are on lowest but i still cant get through missions. I even slotted everything to try and squeeze as much power out as i can. Most of tips I have are against slag golems which seem to be immune to cold and their range stuff flattens me.

I have always known ATs are not at all balanced but this is getting really frustrating. Last week made another scrapper, Katana/SR. Nearly up to 20, mostly solo and only died a couple or times. The difference is shocking.

Any suggestions to get my corruptor blue side?

Think i will go for fire as at least 4 of those powers i would use where as force seems more situational and only a couple of them seem attractive.

Rise of phoenix is a huge reason to go fire as I am very squishy and if theres no tank I can over agro.

Was just as i thought but needed it confirming.

My fire/energy blaster is lvl 40 now and trying to figure out which ancillary power to go for. The energy side of my blaster is only for self defense/boosts as I try to keep max range between me and mobs.

So what are the good & bad points of flame mastery & force mastery? both sound like they fit the concept of the toon.

Just getting to the level where i am thinking of slotting up my second toon and want to take a bit more time getting it right before throwing money into it.

If I have say 2 Numina's slotted in heal self. Would I only get the bonus when heal self is activated or do bonuses take affect when power is not active?

Just realized stalkers have broad swords too. I know they have less HP than brute/scrapper but what they got to make up for it?

I got an idea for a toon so I made a broad sword/dark scrapper and battle axe/dark brute. both are lvl 5 but cant decide which to cary on with. sword seems better for aoe at this lvl but axe seems to do loads more damage.

At higher lvls what are each of these strengths and weaknesses?

Just wondering if i can have acrobatics and combat jumping on at same time?

My scrapper is getting to the lvl which epic power sets are available. After reading whats available for scrapper none of them fit my scrapper's concept and with the planned powers i am aiming to have i will only have 1 slot for an undecided power.

Are epic powers essential/valuable or just too good not to take up?

When I found out it was that idiot from home and away i was gutted. Was really looking forward to this film, seeing the trailer maybe he might be able to pull Thor off. He is the last person i would have thought of to play the part. Let hope it works. :\

Logged on just now to find all my toons stuff has gone from wentworths, everything sold + not picked up and everything selling gone

Just hit 20 with my illusion/empath troller and stuck which to train for. I read in other thread fortitude was very benificial at higher lvls. Other options to fortitude are Flash or other ones like fitness or medicine which i have opportunity to take at this lvl.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for tips on enhancements Fulmens. I am only just starting to notice there are other enhancments other than the standard ones you get of NPC and and invention ones.

Hi, got a bit lost as to where to go, where to pick up missions.

I was soloing a lot at lower lvls and always got new contacts in new zones when i was ready. But since lvl 10 everything i done has been in group. Last group mission i did was in IP. I got no contacts there. Kings row and steel canyon are last places i had contacts but they have no missions for me.

Any suggestions where to pick up missions would be much appreciated
