Email it to your own global name (the name with the @ in front of it).

Sorta. It just got introduced with issue 17.

Click on Email, then New. In the "To" field type your global name which (would be @Your Name). Then drag the salvage to the attachment window, put some random stuff in the text field and click "Send". Voila, you just mailed yourself that piece of salvage.

You can only have 20 emails with attachments at any one time, so after you claim the attachment, make sure you delete the email. They will also expire, causing you to lose whatever was in it, the amount of time you have left can be found on the right side of your email list.

You don't need to make a toon for it. All your characters will have access as long as you mail it to your global (well, currently everyone on one side of Heroes/Villains, but everyone as soon as I18 drops). I mean, you can make one if you want, but it's not necessary. I've just been putting everything anyone earns over about $10 million into my bank and taking out what I need (claim whole thing and delete email, return what I'm not taking out in a new email). I do this often enough that I don't even have to worry about the expiration time limit.

EDIT: Oh, wait, salvage. Yeah, for salvage a toon would be good for storing it as each piece takes up a whole email.

Dec out.

Also, there IS a time limit on how long each email will last (60days) so a dedicated banker would be worth it, possibly.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.

I'd be very careful about this... after all, the patch today included a fix for the attachments randomly getting lost... it's still a new system still with issues. Having a bank toon/toons, IMO, would be the safest option. Especially if you occasionally can't get on for a few days/weeks and... oops! There goes all your inf because you stored it in your emails!

Honestly, I consider the time thing a bigger deal, and the other more of a minor caution. There's been countless times where I've not logged on for extended periods of time... I'd be pretty pissed if the game tried to hold me hostage by get on or lose your stuff! Actually, back when the market was still relatively new, I wasn't playing much... but had to occasionally log on and go to WW/BM to keep my items on the market from being 'lost' (it was later than i found out that it was changed to apply only to inactive accounts!). Having to go through that made me want to play less.

It's really personal preference, though. If it wasn't for the WW/BM thing, I'd probably just use the emails... assuming I had enough stuff that I needed a bank toon
