Architect Edition $9.99 on Steam!
Quote:
As long as you haven't already applied an Architect Edition code to your account, you should get a "free" month with it as well as all the extras that come with it. The month that comes with it will be counted in your vet rewards.
I usually pay the standard $15/month for the game. Does anyone know if I buy this today, will that replace my $15 fee for this month? Also, will it affect any veteran rewards? Thanks!

Okay, thanks!
Note, you'll still be paying the $15 a month. The $9.99 is just the price to buy that version of the game. It doesn't mean you'll be paying $9.99/month now.
You'll get a free month out of it, plus the other associated goodies so it's still a good buy, considering.

Even after shipping? Plus, it can be tricky buying the cheap copiesnoff amazon - Steam is simple and straight forward.

Negaduck: I see you found the crumb. I knew you'd never notice the huge flag.
My question is, does it come with the free month that way? 'Cause I'd pay the 10 to get me 15 in that respect, especially since I don't have the Cyborg pack that would come as a bonus.
EDIT: Oh, duh. Already answered, but at least to the positive.
Dec out.
hmm 1 month and access to a booster pack (I don't have cyborg) with the ease of steam for $10..not a bad idea

I grabbed a cheap copy of the Architect Edition from a store near where I live and forgot that I'd already had it applied.
Eastern Standard Time (Australia)
is 15 hours ahead of
Eastern Standard Time (North America)
which is 5 hours behind
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)
If you pay yearly, then it really isn't that great of a deal (iirc, about only $1 and a few pennies difference).

So, did anyone buy this and did it go well?

New in original shrink wrap $1.44 + $3.99 shipping = $5.43. So yeah even after shipping.

Ya just gotta scroll past the featured merchants and read the listings under "New" and of course read the fine print. I wouldn't buy any software that didn't say factory sealed or new in original shrink wrap.
Really wish architect edition came with science pack option too... already have tech/magic. oh well.

You won't find AE for that, that's the original CoH. I've seen AE for about $10 plus S+H.

I think I'm getting the magic pack this week.

Ah, yes... I was able to get the GvE edition (in a spanish box) for about $8 including shipping not too long ago. I have the "Passe VIP" for pocket D in my wallet because I think it's rather funny.
As part of Steam's summer sale, CoH: Architect Edition is only $9.99 today.
