It also helps to make up your own military/secret organization. For example, I have two such organizations, the Seekers and the Hyren, and if I'm pressed for a name, then *poof* into the team the character goes. That's how Icepick got renamed into Seeker Icepick when I transferred him to Virtue.

Isn't Facebook similar, though? I personally don't know anyone who doesn't use their real name on Facebook, and it's a WHOLE lot easier to gain someone's personal info by just clicking on his or her name. What's the big difference with what Blizzard is going to start doing?

Katana probably gives more DPA (or at least seems to be more popular), but I went Broadsword/Electric as well. Not only do I get to use cooler swords (like a glowing one at Level 1), I feel like I'm getting more out of the Endurance management and recharge reduction.

Like many have said, Victory has traditionally been the "go-to" server for the LGBT community, but nowadays I'm not even sure if any of the ****/bi/trans-oriented SGs/VGs are still actively maintained besides a few members each.

Virtue seems to be pretty friendly as well, overall, but like it was said before, the Pride channel is definitely the OP's best bet for finding similar people.

Also, to those who don't understand why having a GLBT group is so important: as a gay man, I feel a LOT more comfortable talking about certain aspects of my life to other gay/bi people. In the Pride channel, we talk about all the same stuff anyone else does, but I can talk about this cute guy I just met and not have to worry about stupid comments back. I can completely be myself without fear, and that is priceless.

Oh yeah, I was totally thinking how much worse the next one will be with Ultra Mode!

This event was atrocious. I was able to participate in last year's event, and there was not only WAY less lag than this year's, I was able to get the AV defeat badges. This year, I decided to play on my main Brute, and not only was the lag so horrible I had to wait 10 seconds just to move, I wasn't able to get even 1 Hero defeat badge despite spamming as many attack buttons as I could. Heck, I dunno if I was even hitting the enemies, since there were so many people in the zone, getting close to one was like fighting a bunch of parents for the last shipment of Tickle-Me-Elmos.

I'm not trying to sound entitled, but I had very high expectations of this event, especially because I now have a high-end computer, and I am extremely disappointed. I hope an explanation and apology goes out for why the game wasn't prepared for the masses of players it was trying to gather in the first place.

Brutes are my favorite AT, Masterminds a close second. I solo a lot, and Brutes not only let me solo with higher mob sizes, but also let me feel rewarded for attacking/playing the game. Masterminds are great because I like playing classes with pets, and none of my powers feel wasted when I'm soloing.

Blueside, I think I like Controllers and Scrappers best. My Ill/Rad is my main on heroside because he can solo almost anything besides AVs/GMs.
