Yes, beta testing has started. Since many 60+ vets/loyalty program/GR pre-purchasers are still not in beta, it can be assumed that it is in the relatively early stages. There is, after all, 8 weeks before the scheduled release.

A standard rule of any closed beta is that nobody is allowed to talk about it. Thus you are asking a question that nobody would be allowed to answer if they were in it.

We haven't been given any information on the beta since the Friends and Family stage started. That's not to say that it's not in progress, we just haven't been told about it if it is.

The mutant booster is unavailable for testing on the EU test server because the GR closed beta is currently taking place. Avatea has told us this, in no uncertain terms.

It doesn't matter if you completed the Loyalty program.
And it doesn't matter if you pre-purchased the game.
You may have qualified for just one or all three requirements and still not get invited to the Going Rogue closed beta.

If someone were to ask someone point blank, to their face, "Are you in GR closed Beta," I'd much rather people respond, "I can't talk about that," than just outright lying.
I don't think the Devs are expecting you to lie to everyone you know to keep GR a secret, so long as you don't run around uselessly shooting your mouth off.

Point is, everyone needs to stop Q_Q'ing about not getting into CB. CB is pointless in my eyes if it goes live soon after, I rather wait for all of you to pull your hair out, fix the bugs, Q_Q about not getting in or not having enough time then ME having to do anything with CB.
