IIRC, the pedestrians in the city zones have names pulled from US census data. Some hippie named their kid 'Santa'

Did you know:
Many of the soldier NPCs in RWZ & the Shadow Shard have their surnames taken from the real surnames of players who attended the Omega Sektor event in the UK, Easter 2008?
There are many of them (and I naturally will not reveal whose surname belongs to which players) but spotting Private Smith, Lieutenant Niven, Private Walklate, Private DeTarrier, Lieutenant Reid and Private Nakayama (okay, that one's easy to guess) is GREAT!

NPCs better be careful before they get genericed!
I was hanging out in Steel the other day when I saw what must be a new NPC for this year's Winter Event. I don't see any other possible explanation!
So apparently Santa is a shapeshifter. Or he's had some recent elective surgery...
