New Story Archs - I17

I just did the first of the new hero story archs but there's a couple funny things about it that mostly has to do with the character I'm playing.

For one thing, I'm not a hero, I'm a bounty hunter and have actually killed people. But my character wouldn't really want to take credit for kills he didn't do so that's OK.

At one point when talking to myself I asked the question "are you a clone" to which he replied, no I come from the same place you do just in a different dimention. This is funny because the game doesn't realize how much of a contridiction that is as my character is a clone so if he comes from the same place I do he would also be a clone but he said he wasn't.

Also the evil version, I'm not entirely sure because my costume is so dark anyway but it looked like his coloring was backwards. I mostly noticed in on one of my swords which has a gold handle and silver blade but the evil me had a silver handle and gold blade.

Yeah, I had the same thought when I ran the arc on Rose Veldt but I realize that they based it around the spandex-clad self sacrificing "hero" and not bounty hunters, antiheroes or, in my case, big game hunters.

But I was amused to discover that Evil Rose Veldt wears a bright pink hat. That's how you know she's evil

They had to have some identifying mark, since women don't get goatees.

I though an eyepatch would be the female version of the evil goatee?

How does the goatee work if you allready have a beard?

Anyway, I really wanna go run the arch on my other characters just to look at the evil twins.

I think you'd then be entitled to an eyepatch too.

What do you have against Honor Harrington?

You know it's scary because the evil version of my female Invuln/SS tanker...has an eyepatch. In her 'copycat' look where she looks like the hero, the only difference is the eyepatch...

I think you're right...it is the equivilent of a goatee...

I do think it goes.

Male = Goatee.
Male with board = Goatee and eyepatch (or monocle).
Female = Eyepatch.

there is a second variation for female though. Nazi SS she-wolf look, you know lots of black and red leather with a cleavage exposing shirt.

What about if you already have a beard and an eye patch?

Then you get a pink hat.

Why are Pink hats evil again?

The color palettes are swapped on the mirrior. This is especially problematic for costume pieces that only have one color... the secondary color could be anything... even the ugly default pink that came up when you were creating your character:

What I find funny is that I really like the reversed colors look. Unfortunately, the character I have that I would really like to see go through the reversal...is a villain. And not soon to budge morally, either.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

Then again, this is why I adjust colors even when it's something that's not going to be seen.

I had the same thing with one of my characters that's gone through the arc, in regards to the mirrored coloring of the costume.

I really ended up liking my evil twin's costume coloring so much that I've adopted it on his secondary costume slot.

So basically the evil twins must be from the same place as Reverse Flash.

If you don't know who Reverse Flash is, he's the evil twin to The Flash with the exact same costume except it's yellow with red lightning insted of red with yellow lightning.

I wander if it would be odd to do the story arch with Lord Imeperial when he already has a evil twin with Lord Vestereo.

Oh BTW, MALLARDMAN was me, this account wasn't activated till this morning so I was useing a different account to post with.

On the question of what the evil version of a good character who already has a goatee looks like, everyone knows that in that case, the goatee has a goatee.

I just did the first villain arch and not as good as the hero version. But my Flawed clone turned out to have an entirely different power set. I was playing a Night Widow and she pulled out a Katana. Also D is apperently into beastiality because he think's Arachnos Fural is hot. Note the name, FURAL. She looks like a furry outside of her uniform.

The Flawed Clone will always have random power sets. That's why it's -flawed.-

I think it would be funnier if the flawed clone had the correct powers but had random body proportions that didn't match your own. Like, most of my characters are about 6'4" and it would be funny as hell if my clone was 4'6".
