Sorry if that wasn't worded quite clearly enough. It wasn't really pointed at you. More at the general mass of "This isn't perfect! You owe me/I'm quitting!" sorts. If anything, it was more in agreement with much of what you said that I quoted vs the reactions we're getting from several people.

I can understand being frustrated, and feel for the people having problems - in most cases. But I can also understand production, development, and deadlines, and know from history that not only will there be bugs (caught and uncaught) in release, and that they're not there because "the devs aren't doing their jobs/don't care/hate me," but that they will still have people working on getting them fixed before, during, and after release.

Patience is sorely lacking at times. If people expect every issue to come out bug free and perfect, they'd better be able to point out that every single thing they've ever done has also been 100% perfect, on time, and what everyone expected. Otherwise, don't expect the same of anyone else.

I got a defender (who would eventually be my first level 50) up to level 7 and realized I had made his belt the wrong color. At the time there wasn't even a rumor of a tailor coming, so I sat and thought about it. Did I want to redo those seven levels just to get the belt color right or could I just live with it? I mean, it was just the belt, everything else was fine and the color still worked, it wasn't hot pink or something.

I re-rolled.

On topic, I don't think it's unreasonable to want some kind of in-game compensation for the auction house downtime. As much as it's called optional, it is a pretty fundamental part of the game to many players now. I don't care much either way, as long as they get the bugs squashed in a timely manner.

Couldn't you also make a few storage alts and mail them lewt from your normal alts using the new mail system`?

Bah. Just get the damn market working again. Don't worry about compensating anyone. It sucks. And there've been worse things that've happened after an issue went live.

Perhaps so. I have plenty of unused slots on Servers that I don't use, and a few slots on servers that I DO use.

But:
1) Now is as good a time as any to move dayjob locations on the alts, and grab the Anniversary badge on each.

2) Rumored bug regarding the new RMTmail possibly dropping/losing items. I'll wait until the rumor, whether true or false, expires. While it's good to learn from your mistakes, it's more painless to learn from the mistakes of others.

Apparently, they were. Check the Test Server, where the latest patch is supposed to fix the problem, though it's hard to test since we can't convince the Devs to stock the markets over there...

Double XP weekends are bad for the markets*, people don't generate double stuff to go with their double XP.

Give us all a free purple! That'll at least fix the whining from the people who claim they've been 50 "forever" and have never gotten a purple drop.

*Bad for the markets the way I, personally, use them, that is actually buying set IOs that aren't max level.

With this commitment, Going Rogue would be indefinitely postponed, and I17 would be the last issue ever released, as there would be an exodus after two or three years with no new content.

Good thing they changed that before I-9.

The patch on the Training Room seems to fix the bug. You can now bid on 10 enhancements, and a stack of 10 appears in you bought tab. Then you can get them and they're placed in your enhancement tray.

However, you can't place a stack of enhancements or inspirations up for sale -- each one is a separate slot in the market.

It'll probably go live on Monday then if it'll at least allow the markets to work again, even if you can't sell stacks yet.
