So I just realized the effect mailing attachments has. . .

Or you could use a high level toon that has memorized all the TO recipies to craft what the lowbie needs and mail it to him. Takes a bit longer, perhaps, but the memorized recipies can save inf. Also helps in training if the high level character has yet to memorize recipies. Then he can help all your lowbies while gaining his badges.

Actually, someone else thought of it during Closed Beta. I just annexed the idea.
I was kind of mocking you there. In a good-natured way because I love you, but mocking nonetheless.

You can't not use no double negatives. Triple negatives are OK, though.

They're not smart enough to know that it works that way?

Possibly because they haven't had much time to alter their methods to it yet?

total kick to the gut

This is like having Ra's Al Ghul show up at your birthday party.

Because they don't know how to find out someone's global name based on their local name?

I'm not going to mention how here, just in case one of them happens to browse the forums.

It really sucks that you have to be careful what you post for fear of spammers finding it I don't want to be responsible for a flood of global name emails, so I'm keeping my mouth shut about it .

Really Sam? I usually get 50-100k, tho I have gotten as low as 25k but that's rare. Sorry to hear you have such bad luck.

We can block emails from anyone not on our friends list so even if they figure out my global they can't bother me.

I think you are confused. TOs are training origins. Those are the things that lots of people don't even bother slotting.

Common IOs, on the other hand, are a great way to transfer inf to an alt. Once I get an alt into my SG base, she can simply stroll over the the 45-50 enhancement storage locker, pull out a few level 50 accuracy or damage IOs, and sell them on the market for 300k each. It's like my SG has a bank vault with all of my characters contributing.

Of course, now you have to be careful when sending e-mails, because there's a limit of 150 per day. In general, that's not bad, but when trying to send stuff cross-server, being limited to 1 item attached at a time, it can add up fast.

Of course, I'm being told I'm crying in my thread asking for the cap to be removed, that there's no way anyone who isn't an RMT serial killer will ever come near the cap, and other such things that make me LOL, but there it is.

I have to agree with Sam. I also can never get much for large inspirations on the market.

Street_Wolf has one method:

I just rolled up a new alt earlier today, and while I was playing, frustrated by my attacks missing so often, I realized, "Hey, wait a minute! I can send myself some influence and buy those TOs now!"

In the past, TOs have sort of been a thing to laugh at. Now, I just have to send a few thousand inf to my global, and I can pick it up on a lowbie to by a few TOs which previously would be far too expensive for being that low of a level.

The bonus isn't much, but it definitley gives me a bit of an edge at the lower levels and makes leveling that much easier.

(On top of that, the new mail system is especially useful for when you can start slotting DOs and SOs since you don't neccesarily have to save up for them)
True, but I usually got enough cash for all my TOs from selling the big Insps you get from Outbreak anyway. I'm seeming to find it more handy in the 10s and 30s so far.

Dec out.

One other thing that's handy to do...

I always put "H:" or "V:" at the start of my subject line so I can tell which side sent (and can use) the mail.

It's nice to use the mail to clear a spot in maxed out salvage on the fly in a mission too.
