So how are these arcs? Fun? Soloable or best on teams? Yeah, yeah, I know I could go to the wiki and read up...

I'm only a few missions into the Hero side arc, and it's very soloable. This is the second Mirror Me I met, and he was a little challenge, but I'm running on +0, +0, with no bosses.

They use some new technology in the missions that's pretty cool. I hope to see more of this.

It seems like your evil you is highly interested in providing reasonable rates on female companionship operating out of dark alleys.

did you have any input on the look or color of your mirror me?

Nope... the first Mirror Me was a perfect match. The second looks like they swapped the colors on the hat, and switched the jacket to pink, which may be a complementary color to brown or something? It may just be random. The shirt, shoulderpads, and boots match.

Took me a few seconds to see what the deal was.

Just figured you were using DC's advice on costume design. *shrug*

Negatory. There is a reason the first one looks like you (you'll know after you play the arc), and my second double did look like an evil version of Grey Pilgrim (if you've ever seen Grey Pilgrim, same type of outfit, only in dark, sinister grays, rather than light grays). It was quite cool.

MG's must have just been reading into his psyche... or something.

Anyway, I haven't started up the second hero arc, but I did finish the first one... it's great fun, and as MG mentioned, uses some new tech that is quite interesting. Text bubbles appearing near you when an agent contacts you, a mission entered in Faultline exiting in Talos, etc. It's a fun and new experience. 5 merits overall for it, and it doesn't take too long... maybe 30 minutes without rushing, if that.

Your jacket and pants aren't using your secondary color. Judging by the picture, it looks like your characters initial color scheme involved that pink upon creation. You didn't need to change the secondary color of your pants/jacket, because they don't actually change anything. So when they used your colors and inverted them (which they did), the pink that was unused came to life, and the brown went away.

All your pieces are perfectly inverted color-wise. As far as I can see, anyway.

Oh hells, that's it... that shade of pink is the secondary color for the jacket and pants (I forget why... probably randomly picked by default). Ok, I need to fix that before continuing the arc... or maybe just use a different costume.

Ele has a costume that looks *kinda* like eochai (pumpkin head, brown leafy body, etc).
I purposefully changed into that costume before the mission, then switched after I knew he had spawned, just so I could fight that retarded-looking version of me :P

honestly, though. Every time you make a new toon the default colors are the horridly default pink or cyan or green. Those terribly bright and obnoxious colors that we (excluding DC) rarely use for anything. *shudder*

While I've gotten different colors, it may be using the sprite editing concept of making the transparent background an (ugly) unused color. That way it's easier to tell the difference.

Y'know, I honestly can't tell, because both are sending conflicting signals. let's take a closer look, shall we?

On the left hand side, we can see two powers being used: Rage (yellow glow) and Invincibility pale purple lines emanating from his body). You can also see the yellow aim FX (tohit buff), which could either be from Rage or Invin.

On the right hand side, again, two powers are being used: Temp Invuln (the little burst from the left shoulder) and Unyielding (white cage). You can also see purple shields indicating a def buff.

Problem is, I would've expected one of you to have all of them. Of course, power customization makes it worse, since there is an option (for Invuln anyways) for "No FX" (except in PvP). Having said that, I'm going to guess you're the one on the right - when I fought my brute clone tonight, she didn't have knock protection, so I'd assume clones aren't allowed to have status protection.

So, how'd I do?

Think you're right on the no status protection for clones, when I fought my Shield/Axe tank's clone I utterly owned it thanks to all the axe knockup/knockdown

I say it's a red herring. Neither one is you; neither is running away from the fight.
