It would be nice if they'd have in-game jokes similar to guild wars.
Three I remember:
1. Gender swap - go into a major town and your toon changes gender.
2. Stick Man - in town, your toon turns into a stick figure man.
3. This year - your toon is miniaturized, while your mini-pets are huge.

Sorry, but I don't normally login everyday. What exactly happen on April 1? What was the joke?
I thought City of Sidekicks was a funny piece. My view of April Fool's Day, especially regarding MMOs is that they are kind of expected and not really there to "prank" anyone. I actually enjoyed reading about it and how the Devs would have enacted it! In fact it even made me long to read about City of Henchmen, which would probably make a very funny mmo in and of itself. Anyways, April Fools pranks are kinda childish and usually based on sophmoric humor, but if you expect it and actually look for it, its more of an inside joke than anything.
I still think they should announce "Clown Summoning" on April Fool's day as the next MM powerset.
Then deliver it after everyone thinks it was -just- a joke. Closed beta only, no open beta. BAM. Clown summoning.

I don't care for pranks overall....can't stand shows like Punk'd as I just don't find it funny....I might not appreciate the humor but I appreciate the effort and thought that the biggest laugh they would get out of me about this is if next April 1st we seethe box on the shelves...

I didn't like it.
I thought it was decent. Well-written.
The problem with April Fool's jokes by people who are "official" is that if you do them right (make them believable), you get HUGE amounts of people all bent out of shape. That's not in their best interest. The best they can shoot for is "silly".
