I joined up with PU the other day, it's alot of fun.
It's a forum. If you don't think you need it then don't join. If you do for whatever reason then go for it.
Since I do 95% of my posting during work hours it's deffo not for me...
Plus I've enough distraction with this forum alone.

By the way, Paragon Unleashed is in no way tied to Paragon Studios or NCSoft.
On a final note, the creation of this thread had nothing to do with and was not planned by anyone over at PU. Bionic Flea is an independent agent.
I unleashed because of the very reason Westly stated above. To talk about issues you can't talk about here. Also because trolls are dealt with a lot more swiftly there. NOTHING is off topic on PU, which is the biggest draw for me, its a 'Life general Discussion Forum'.
I like boobs.
Also, if you make enough posts, you get into the secret sub-forum where we post cheat codes for CoH. I just type in the infinite endurance code now and drop stamina from all my builds!
Also, it's a fun place to hang out and discuss non-game related things with a group of people who enjoy this game.

Hard to say why. Peer pressure mostly. A lot of my favorite forumites were already there. So I checked it out and, you know, it's nice to talk about whatever I want with people who get my nerdy references.
Also, if I suggest the moderator's mother might exchange sexual favors for nickels behind the 7-11 on Fourth and Asbury on Thursday Nights (nickels optional!) chances are I'll still be able to post the next day. That's liberating.

It is what it is. Personally i was under the impression that comicshaven already did everything that pu does , but meh either way, what you get is what is advertised, if that is your thing, then you may as well check it out, more than one forum is too much time commitment for me.
I go there so I can discuss stuff that wouldn't survive on these boards.
Religion, Politics and general current events wouldn't survive here, even though in general everyone here is mature enough to discuss such things. I do not have a problem with NCSoft not allowing that kind of discussion, but it's nice to have a place to go to talk about it, with the same people who come here.
Like the others, I get to say whatever I want about anything or anyone, ((
)) and as long as it's not a direct threat or anything illegal, it's fair game. Do we seem to be fascinated about boobs & sex? Sure, just like most of North America & Europe...well, I say Europe, but I don't really know if they're fascinated by that stuff, I could be wrong. But anyway, I digress. We discuss, ad nauseum sometimes, the healthcare debate, politics, gay rights, religion, etc. at least we get to talk about it with folks we've known for a while here on the boards. It's refreshing. And yes, trolls get Kung Fu kicked in the junk far faster there.
And we have boobs. And the ultra secret room where Vivace is queen, and we do her bidding.

It's a clique. These things happen in large groups of people with at least one similar interest. It will eventually fade to obscurity as people lose interest. These things also happen.
