It's really hard to tell if you're joking about this but I can tell you right now that half the players on that team would be easily farmable due to their 1 dimensional evasion, leaving Reaver & Unholy to be effectively singled out as the only individuals contributing to their offense (Reaver would focus more on spiking than he would on IR'ing.)
Best team I have ever seen was when Arc, Anichi and Sorrows joined Velocity. Best Matches were Vel v Jal for #1. I think every other team was watching and no one could tell who was winning through most of them.
I wouldn't even classify roles because who knows what would be viable here and there but if I had to pick 8 players plus myself

I made a mistake by saying still played today,
I should have been more clear, I meant if these ppl were still around and It was i12 rules ( hence the Sonic and Kin still in the lineup ) still thats who'd I'd like to see.
I can understand why u would say that about Blue but Im honestly shocked that U said Reaver and Unholy would be the only ppl offense, when Scribe is listed there ( i12 rules though ). Also I only listed Reaver as Kin becuz I first saw him pvping on his I think Ice?/Kin Corr on champion and that he was good on it.
Tho I should have removed Smoke from that list becuz I only meet him after I13, If I did that the only other Emp player I would put on that list would actually be U jus becuz I thought u were a good emp ( Award Tour right? ) when u played with UW/M3z and the rest of VORI on Champion.
Though If I made a list of ppl I'd be interested in see'ing in a team that r still here currently post i13 it would be this:

I havent seen Unholy since after i13 came out, I dont know if he has played in i13 post or not but I honestly think that if some1 gave him all the IOs he would need and gave him like 1 month to get Unrusty. He would be the best blaster in this entire league ( ALL teams included ).
But everything above ^ is my own personal opinion that I stand by.

Unholy played in i13. He participated in the Champion 5v5v5 event where we threw together a ragtag team against PoN (Hinden played against us on Emp) and we deeked all over them.
I did play Award Tour on Champion, yes. And I played Therm for VORI on test as well.
Despite my poking fun on that line-up you posted, I'll try to explain my rationale behind not putting Reaver and Scribe up there.
While Reaver is a fantastic player and a really fun person to have on vent/mumble, he can also be fairly inconsistent. With there being such a high concentration of players that you can throw into a mix of potential "dream teams". This is also why I have to exclude a player like Scribe, who, albeit a capable offensive player does not have the consistency in the highest competitive environment.
He played on the test ladder for a brief period of time and was unable to find success. And even with the consideration that he was playing for teams that were perhaps not up to par, he was not a stand-out player like say, an Unholy or a Liberty.
Liberty is bar none the best example of a stand-out player who was able to rise above the constraints of playing for a garbage team.
I don't think that Unholy would be the best blaster or offensive player in the game if he were to come back and make himself unrusty, but I do believe that he would be a definite candidate for best utility player, as he demonstrates the capability to play anything without a problem. He is also in my opinion one of the most underrated players and easily the best Stalker.
I know people talk about Zero, but Zero had nothing on Unholy's jump cancel Assassin Strikes, sorry.
For the sake of discussion, as far as a "dream team" goes for me, I'm fortunate enough to have been able to form my personal dream team.
The only thing really missing from WARE at the moment is xhiggy, Unholy, h0j and Z.
