City of Neo-- Wait, what?
Mine is a bit out there... Combining a Kung Fu idea with DP. Picture a martial artist in full robes, totally blind (chain & cloth covering his eyes) weilding a pair of revolvers (JAY... We NEED .45 Peacemakers dangit!!!)- name? The Six Gun Seer.
"Well, there's going to be some light music and a short note of apology saying, 'The universe ended last week, we're really sorry, we don't know what you're doing here, didn't you get the message?'"- Steve Moffat
I made a mage with magical talking guns that speak broken German. I thought that she was pretty creative...

As far as Western-styled chars, I've found that the jacket from the magic power pack is a pretty good stand-in for a Western-styled duster.
I went for the fancy one in this pic, but the plain works just as well, or even better.
Meet Remington Winchester.
Seeing a bunch of Neo clones was my biggest fear about dual pistols going live. However was very surprised with the variety that players have come up with. Cowboys seem to be the #1 theme that I saw most during my play time. For me, costume styles I went with something that was a mix of the Phantom and DC comic's Vigilante.

ShoNuff: If sophisticated = bro-mantically emo-tastic, then I'm going to keep to my Shonen loving simplicity dammit.
I had actually intended to make a Spirit-styled char. The western theme just sort of popped out on its own. I do also have a red-side who is more of a silver age vigilante. Maybe he'll start out bad and redeem himself come June.
I ended up calling her "Velcro Kitty," a name I've gotten nothing but scorn for, but that's OK. It came out of my own line of someone who gathers more <something I don't remember> than a Velcro kitty rolling through a pile of woollen sweaters, as a reference to her propensity for getting herself into trouble.

I've got a kinda, sorta Humphrey Bogart/Wolfman mashup/homage going with the DP Blaster I made yesterday. Here's his bio:
Final Straw, DM/Regen Scrapper
Solari, Fire/Fire Blaster
Real Americana, MA/SR Scrapper
Task Force Timmy, Grav/Rad Controller
Astral Paragon, Spines/Regen Scrapper
Mr Drama King, Katana/Regen Scrapper
Psi-Stunner, Psi/Mental Blaster
- Was this before or after '91? (the last time I paid any attention to Garfield)
- A good pun is a good pun no matter how old it is.
- <arrogant swagger> My Sam is so wild and untamed (albeit housebroken ) that he - and by extension his creator - make this joke look fresh and hot. </arrogant swagger>
- Camp is best when it's played perfectly straight. And this is pure camp.

That would be Wicked!
Can you see it now: A Western themed zone in the style of Bonanza or
even better.. West World? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_world)
