I'm going to bet on Jillians, which is 1 T-stop away, or a short-ish hike from Hymes. They have the facilities for an M&G type event and have the toys mentioned above. Kings does too and is closer.
Some sort of announcement would be helpful.
Boston is meant for walking. Cab rides are crazy expensive, I only take them when BAC is simply too high. Walking and getting to know the T are you best bets.
If you're driving in, you may want to think about parking at either Riverside (Green line) or Alewife (Red) which has parking at a much more reasonable rate than you'll find in the Back Bay.

I've been trying to get on that program for a couple of years now...and figured it was never going to happen...but got the news in my mail this afternoon.
So now, meet and greet? No problem, I just went from 'maybe' to 'probably'!

I pity the people of Boston - my son (aka Junior / Union server) is heading to Boston to catch up with online friends, and it happens at the same time as PAX East!
It seems only fitting that he will be looking to attend the 'meet and greet'. If he gets the chance to re-acquaint himself with War Witch again (memories of Guitar Hero in Brighton at the Gamer Heaven meet) then all the better!

Never seen JoCo live, either. Haven't made up my mind yet on which event I will attend (but I will definitely be at the panel).

Just to make sure you guys don't miss it, we did what we could to make sure that as many CoH players could get in to PAX as possible. So check out this contest, and maybe you folks who are interested but don't have tickets can score one in time!

There are some tickets for Pax East still floating around so if anyone's still looking to get into the convention on Saturday, I may be able to connect you with someone who has tickets but doesn't want to go. Send a PM but do so quickly!
Sorry for the thread Necromancy or whatever it's called, but this is to let people who didn't read Second Measure's first Producer Letter, know that he mentioned some information on the future of the game would be forthcoming at PAXEast 2011.
Last year Paragon Studio's attendence wasn't announced until after the tickets to the show had sold out, but as of now, there seem to be plenty of tickets left. No announcement of which day the panel is going to take place (I assume there will be a panel), or when/whether there will be a M&G, but I just went ahead and bought a 3-day pass to be safe (it's 21% cheaper then two 1-day passes).

Given that the convention is in the new BCEC, with over 2x the space of last year's show, tickets should be readily available up until the convention.
However, I bought my 3 Day pass last week cause I like to play it safe....

I also bought my 3 day ticket when they became available; they were terribly inexpensive. I haven't figured the travel and staying arrangements, but last year I was locked out when I waited too long to pick up a ticket.
Now I'm waiting for the Meet and Greet details, 'cause I'll be disappointed if there isn't one. ;]

Hey all, I'm going to close this thread as it might be a bit misleading for people who open up News, Events & Announcements and see a thread talking about CoH heading to PAX. It's also almost a year old; this old thread isn't relevant to the upcoming PAX.
Feel free to start up a new thread about the upcoming PAX, however. It's my understanding that we'll be there in some sort of capacity.
You'll miss out on the panel and any other stuff going on at the con proper (the panel's about it for CoX content), but you'll still get a chance to buy swag, win prizes and hang with the devs.
Now if they'd just announce the location, I could finalize my schedule.
