Nice.

3 new Guest Authors and hopefully 3 great stories. Considering what these people have written before, I think I will enjoy these ones.

Ps. Austin Grossman wrote a book that introduced the Malign Hypercognition Disorder ("evil genius" syndrome) that I as Supervillain do not suffer from, honest I don't.

I'm hoping to co-star with "Deborah" Gibson in "Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus 2."

Troy Hickman - So proud to have contributed to and played in this wonderful CoH universe

At first I thought that photo was actually a slight GR slip...
Then I looked closer...I mean....wierd stuff man.

However...look at the grass! That's better quality than the flat green patches we get in game atm...any liklihood of ACTUAL grass coming back for GR? Now *that* would be an announcement.

yay....
I couldnt agree more. Seriously though they should at least tell us if they are going to overhaul the AE in terms of rewards to risk. As it stands currently it just isnt worth the time doing unless you build an arc to intentionally abuse the system to get tickets.

I checked to see if we weren't missing something and there was a newer article somewhere that actually had an interview, but no, this is the most recent link. I wonder if they'll post something new in the next day or two.

To be a bit more precise though, he worked as a writer for Looking Glass Studios (the good one), which means he's also credited for having a hand in Deus Ex amongst others. If that makes some people still go "huh?" Then they should feel bad.

Anyways it's cool to hear that you guys are roping in more outside writers to give MA a try. I just hope that they can adjust to the medium well, as there are plenty of critics who will tear their arcs apart otherwise, though I'm just kidding of course.

...Half-kidding anyway.

I don't know if he wears pants.
I loved that book so much. Its really just made of win.

Now I can't wait to play his arc!

And I'll just chime in with a few others, really that article stinks, no information, not even written well. Its just a fairly poor teaser.

Link me when its the actual interview. k thx

Awesome! Still no articles at the link you provided, and a reference to even more articles than the articles that didn't show up yesterday! Hoorah!

Are we still gonna get an interview with Dr. Aeon? I'd like to read that!

One thing that yesterday's events taught me, is that you can't base an arc on what the writer has written before...

You should try the Lackey arc. There's not the first white clad sorcerer or telepathic horse to be found in that arc. In fact, she brings on the snark in a biig way..!

In fact played her arc yesterday afternoon, and Hickman's last night (and thank you, Dr. Aeon for taking us through that romp!-I would have been the yellow and pink eyesore). Gonna do Grossman's later, probably, when I am more awake.

I did a check on Grossman, he wrote System Shock the PC game which gave us one of the best computer game villains of all time in the AI Shodan. (Its also the game Bioshock is based on)

I wasn't impressed with the Hickman one last night, especially with all the Extreme mobs and crap-XP in the final mission thanks to that all-minion group, then an all boss escort for the AV so even less reward for the effort. Also too much telling instead of showing, where were all those hostages in the first mission supposed to be again?

Hopefully the Austin one will show some decent gameplay.

I'd be interested in reading their interviews but their web site is a mess. The pages appear for a second, then I get a blank page (this happened to me when I tried to read it from work and here at home too). I don't know what they're doing... I use Google Chrome to surf, so maybe it works in other browsers, but I guess I won't be reading anything on that web site.

In a world of vanishing standards where a cast member of The Hills can have a bestseller I almost hesitate to ask, but what is it about Mercedes Lackey's books that you don't like exactly? I only ask because I think she's one of the most talented authors of fantasy ever and I'm always taken aback when somebody attacks the work of an author who has done stuff that is so much more amazing and beautiful than anything I could ever produce in a million years. I know taste in literature is supposed to be subjective but I have trouble accepting that there are people who really think that Tolkien is a bore or that Stephen King has never written a good book.
