Yeah...assuming everyone has signed up, and if we end up having 5 registered D8 teams within those sign-ups with the full 12 spots each, that still leaves over 100 draft picks (so 20 or so draftees per team). It would be nice if we had a few more teams...it's why I'm a little worried over the remaining teams not posting rosters (unless I just missed them).
What time is the draft? Will there be a list of all non-reserved players?

Unless I missed something, the draft is at 9PM Eastern. Emp and I were talking about a spreadsheet of sorts on our GP site. I haven't heard of the PvPEC (or anyone else) distributing one, so I assumed that was up to each team to figure out.

Draft time is February 13th, 2010. 6PM PST/9PM EST and will be on the PVPEC vent. We will only be allowing the team leaders in the channel for draft picks. Please have your picks worked out in advance and take in to consideration other leaders might beat you to who you want so have extra jic.
Also remember guys if your D8 people have not signed up, they cannot participate. Check your list and sign them up yourselves if you have to.

Yeah it is looking that way. Getting the updater was a pain in the butt but the huge increase in signups the past 2 days shows it was definitely worth it. I am estatic at the interest personally. While 20 people might sound like a lot keep in mind probably only half will be able to show up for each practice/match I would imagine.
Its cool to see this much interest, I just hope it doesn't bite us in the end.
If the dev's see us as being content with the changes, there will be little motiviation to disrupt the new "status quo" like they did last time.
But, hopefully this can serve as a venue of demonstration as to what does not and can not work with the new system.
The D6 teams are going to be very interesting, as it looks like many of the signups aren't even going to have PvP-ready builds at all, let alone something that will work for team arena. I don't think that will be too much of an issue (PLing new characters doesn't take more than a few days) but the inf to get a character ready may be prohibitive for some of these players.

I imagine that the leaders will tell their D6 teams to farm those with bad builds and the people that get farmed will say "for how come I die so much?" and then they will get help with their builds by the Vets.
One of these days I'll find one that isn't a lolhuge GIF, I promise.

Draft closes tonight at midnight PST(3AM EST). I will be compiling a list of players not registered on teams and PM those out to the captains of each team.
To clarify a question of roster sizes, a rule was set in place from the beginning which states

I have PvP ready builds but as of right now I am unsure whether or not they will be a good fit for whatever team I drafted to. so I am holding off, there still about 2 weeks of free transfers left and I'm pretty sure I have something that's level 50 that will fit the team. some of them even half-way slotted right.
So did you guys discuss banning any powers or is everything a go?

In an ideal world this tournament would show how much EVERYONE hates TS/HD and would have it removed from zones. In an ideal world.
Are any devs/CR people going to be at the event? I think it would be eye opening for them to see how the new PVP ACTUALLY works in a tournament setting. Datamining will only get you so far when it comes to MMORPG's.
