Hello everyone,id like to apologize for the rampid dissregaurd in the way of behavior that i shoveled out over the coarse of a few days.

I was without my higher functions within my mental facalties, and a large bottle of Wild Turkey, and 3 bottles of Southern Comfort may or may not have been involved....i wont say for sure...

Anyhow,im not in the habit of drinking, nor am i in the habit of making a superb *Bleep* of my self. So,who ever i hurt in the wake of my stupidity, just know,i ment nothing personal, and i should have had a designated Forum Driver...thank you for your time, and once again,im sorry.

While you haven't offended me directly I have found some of your posts quite ignorant...

HOWEVER... I find it very commendable that you felt the need and followed through on a post like this... most people would use the anonymity of the internet to continue being ******* and you took the higher road.

No more booze for you!!! :P

Likewise, you haven't offended me directly but your posts were hilariously ignorant.

That said, I'd forgive you if there was anything to forgive (but I guess I'm in a good mood...Nyquil and 10 hours of sleep may have helped). No need to hold a grudge.

Also, DAMN, you drank that much in a few days!? That'd last me a good while but then I don't drink that often. But it sounds like you could have had some fun with it if you got away from the forums while you drank it.

Don't get any of that near me, tho. I become extremely flamboyantly gay when I drink >_<

That explains a good bit. I was left scratching my head after I searched your post history. You seemed like a rather nice person in most of your posts to suddenly turn into a jerk.

Yup, that alcohol lowers inhibitions (sometimes that's a good thing, sometimes...not so much). But under all the rage, you did have a valid point with seeing high-end builds all over this forum and players thinking they are able to afford that on everything they make. It sounds like you were just a little too drunk to remember what tact was.

Cheers.

I salute you for your admitting to be human, now for some of the other posters...

I just wanted to commend the OP. It's incredibly rare that someone apologizes for poor behavior in the forums. Kudos to you.

You should put a "Posts angry when drunk" disclaimer in your sig. And an avatar that points to the sig

Humanity: For the weak!

Kudos on the post, though. The bigger man is one who can admit being wrong and say sorry =]

Yes, but your abuse of the poor comma and neglect of spaces makes me sad . Since I'll have to see this on every post you make I'm going to clean it up for you.

Caution! Angry Drunk Posts may occur in one or more people who take Alcohol. Side-effects are jerk comments, foul mouthing, sarcasm, and being a complete and total *BLEEP!*.
If these problems persist, you should stop taking Alcohol and contact a pot of coffee.
In more then one case of Alcohol, Public Apologies have been reported. You should not operate Heavy Machinery or Forum Boards as Alcohol can make you look stupid.

I think everyone should apologize. That's like 2 people now.

Well,in that case, ill leave the comma's and the lack of spaces as is.

I know that sounds a bit childish, but,i find your comment a bit arrogant and snobbish.

That's because I am arrogant and snobbish.

Often it's not so much snobbery as posts that are full of erratic punctuation, bad spelling and incoherent grammar are difficult for everyone else to read. In a text format like online forums what you write is effectively the face you show to everyone else.

If your writing is the equivalent of showing up to a meeting in vomit-spattered clothing while staggering about slurring your words no one is going to take what you post very seriously.

You don't have to write like you're trying for a Pulitzer, but just making an effort to get the basics right does make it easier to read and posts that are hard to read tend to get ignored by everyone else. (In my case i have a bit of a cheat: i use Firefox, and it automatically highlights misspelled words for me.)

That said, write the way you want to write. Who cares what anyone else thinks?

I'm not human, I have nothing to apologize for.

Ok, maybe I am human. but I won't apologize for that.

It wasn't my fault!!!

Isn't there a law of nature that states something akin to, "If you're going to write about proper grammer and spelling, you will make a grammer/spelling mistake"? I'm certain there is, since I haven't seen a post that does correct someone's spelling or grammar, do so without a spelling/grammar error.

Even my own.

Yep. (Also, fixed. ) However, i was advocating trying to follow the basic rules of grammar and spelling when posting, not suggesting that anyone without perfect grammar and spelling should be cast out of the internets and hurled into the outer darkness for all eternity.

Occasional typos and grammatical mistakes in forum posts are expected and passed over without comment. Hell, our Doyen of Digits, one of the most accomplished posters in the forums, Arcanaville herself, tends to omit apostrophes and frequently makes a few other minor punctuation and spelling errors. Her posts are otherwise so clearly and articulately written that a few minor errors doesn't stop her meaning from being clear, regardless of whether you actually understand the math that usually accompanies it.

Ummm, high school was over for me a loooong time ago,and you seem to belive heavly in proper grammar, but,i dont. The fact that you even go on ..and on....and on...about grammar may mean a number of things.

Either you are trying to get a passive emotional response from my self,or others,or your simply bored, and feel you are a superiour being compaired to the rest of us,which is hard to prove by pointing out spelling and punctuation.

I caution you though.....Im a expert at making a *BLEEP* of my self on rare moments that life gets me down, but by no means does it mean your free of that rederict.

Ohhh, almost forgot! The way a person spells, uses comma's,ect....doesnt reflect on there overall intellegence,it just means they have bad writting habits.Habits im fine with.
