Baphomet and Faultline - am I hallucinating?
You're mistaken.
There was no zone monster in Faultline.

The old Faultline WAS a zone monster... if you couldn't fly! I do wish we could revisit it via Ouroboros, though.

I kinda miss old Faultline. As far as zones went, it was pretty creepy and non-Euclidian.

I visited old faultline once, and had to die to get out. I'd have never gone again if not for the revamp.
I was attacked by some sort of tentacles once when I accidentally jumped into the water near Doc Delilah. I don't remember what they were called.
That was over a year ago and I haven't seen them since. I'd hardly class them as a giant monster... but it was strange and a bit terrifying when it happened since I was new to the game.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
As has been pointed out, old Faultline had no zone monster.
Old Faultline was a Trial Zone which pretty much meant there wouldn't be any sort of draw except for its Trial. A shame the Faultline Trial never made it in-game.

Like Eden and Terra Volta (and, I suppose the underground sewer network) trial zones don't have giant monsters.
It used to be that Trial Zones had trials, and Hazard Zones had monsters. Except they never quite got implemented like that, were never quite followed up on like that, and that idea kind of got tossed out the window and isn't used today.
So that's the difference between the two. Then, see above. Now, nothing.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
Aww, I thought this was going to be another slash thread.

For some reason I have a vague memory of the idea that Baphomet was a zone monster who occasionally spawned in the old Faultline (before Issue 8).
Did I just hallucinate this, or is it true? Nobody ever went there unless they had to or were collecting badges, back in the day. |

Hardly a mile, but that drop shown at the end of the video is the tallest drop in the game save for places in the Shadow Shard and perhaps Lord Recluse's tower.
