Replace Omega Maneuver
You'll change my Omega Maneuver when you pry my fingers from your cold, dead throat!

Omega Maneuver is made of awesome and win. I don't understand why you'd want to change it.
NPCs: A Single Method to Greatly Expand Bases
I find Omega Maneuver to be pretty silly in concept, so here's a couple suggestions for a replacement:
Overcharge: Your Channelguns charge up and fire a tremendous, concentrated blast at a single enemy, dealing Extreme damage to that enemy and to anyone near the explosion, knocking them down and stunning them if they are not defeated outright. (Huge damage, long recharge, Targeted AoE like Explosive Blast) Frag Barrage: You pepper an area around an enemy with Frag Grenades fired from your channelguns. Anyone who is caught in the blasts will take serious damage and possibly be knocked back by the explosions. ((Large damage, medium recharge, targeted AoE)) Cluster Grenade: You fire a Cluster Bomb at a targeted location. The bomb will explode mid-air, raining down bomblets to obliterate the enemies below. (Large DoT, long recharge, Rain of Arrows or Fire Rain-type AoE)) Channel Beam: Your Channelguns fire concentrated streams of energy over a wide area, cutting through any victims unfortunate enough to be in their way. The amount of power required to sustain a beam of fire for so long prevents you from repeating this often. (Extreme damage, medium recharge, wide cone) Annihilation: You go all-out in a fiery swathe of destruction, firing everything you have at the enemies around you. Enemies will take damage from your Channelguns, be afflicted by your Venom Grenades, and be blown back by your Frag Grenades. However, this is extremely taxing on your Endurance and will leave you unable to recover Endurance for a while. (High damage: Smashing, Energy, Toxic, Fire, long recharge, PBAoE) |
However, I enjoy Omega Manuever as-is and don't see why you don't just skip OM if you dislike it.
I enjoy tossing it into a crowd of Longbow and imagining them yelling "It's a grenade! SHOOT IT!"

Also: obligitory "Cottage Rule" reference.

I like some of these ideas for additional powers added into the pool (which I'll admit is a full enough pool already that I had to skip a few powers that I wanted).

My personal selection if I had to choose one of those would most likely be Frag Barrage, with Overcharge coming in a close second.
I'm gonna have to say no.
None of your options come close to matching the utility OM currently has. Omega is just one of the best powers ever, IMO.

Omega Manuever functions a lot like a Light Grenade.
"Pick Me Up!"
The suggestion works if you replace the word "Omega Maneuver" with "Frenzy".
Branching Paragon Police Department Epic Archetype, please!
It just feels pretty dumb to me, I think a frag grenade barrage is cooler.

I'm also going to state that you may want to rethink your playing style when you play a VEAT. The impression I get is that you want the VEAT to act like something else... but you don't know what. This might be why you see OM as a "dumb" power.
Cottage Rule.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

But replacing a power with another is never a good idea. EVER. Especially with my precious Omega Maneuver

That said, I don't dislike the powers you are putting forward. In general, much as I like being able to "pick everything," I still feel we could do with more powers in powersets in general. Currently, we have 24 power picks total, which used to be enough for all primaries, all secondaries, two pool powers for travel and all four Epics. Some of us can make do with just one pool power for travel now, and Epics swelled to five powers, so that's no longer the case, but it's still the next best thing. Kheldians, on the other hand, have a good idea with their zillions of powers that you can never ever pick even if you took nothing but, so I don't disagree with adding a few extras.
So far, we've only seen Epics padded up, and only because they tried replacing powers and the player base spontaneously combusted, so they scrambled to put the old powers back in alongside the new ones, and eventually pad up the rest of the pools that didn't get replacements in them. We can, probably, look forward to a regular power pool padding in the same way, but I don't think things will ever go as far as to pad up the existing powersets.
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

I disagree with the premise of the thread, and find OM to be fun, functional and useful solo and teamed.
I'd much rather see time bomb replaced with something more akin to OM, than OM to go away.

@Lyrik
Why Replace, why not let it be a add on or this/that(think Gun Nades or Pack Nades)
So its Omega Maneuver or Annihilation
Edit: I would love Annihilation on the Melee Crab Build im working on.
Going to miss the fun and nice people here at CoH. Feel free to add me on PS3/XBox360

If it's not only functional, but functioning well, leave it the hell alone.
If its not only broken, but steaming slightly, now might be a good time to do some repair work.
OM and Timebomb, respectively.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.
