Want the MA Super Team to Play Your Arc?
I'd love to hear about a team's experiences playing "Two Households Alike" (#126582).

I'd really love it if you could give Polar Emergence Neutral Government User Interface Network (PENGUIN) a try. It's arc 29205, three missions, levels 30-54, with Crey and Winter Horde.
I'm out of signature space! Arcs by Tubbius of Justice are HERE: http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=218177
*slips a note under the door* For your consideration. Thanks for offering to take on arc playtime - feedback is always appreciated and readily encouraged! I'm still futzing on the final mission for boss spawn point control, but as a whole this one's in the can and will be advertising it publicly soon.

The Drakule arcs are designed specifically with teams in mind, and the first one's a great place to start, generally. At least, I find starting things at the beginning to be a good practice.
Rise of the Drakule (#51357)
I try to put some humor everywhere I can, so if you're not the team leader, make sure to click the ! in the nav window to read the mission briefings, if you guys don't already do that. The still busy text usually has a joke or two as well. Unfortunately there's not much to do about the rest of the team not seeing the debriefing text, however.

I'll throw my most recent arc on here:
The Hero of Kings Row (#230187). It's designed for levels 1-14, and, though it can be soloed fairly easily, I'd like to find out how it plays for a team.
@Backfire ran it earlier, but I've significantly revised the 2nd and 4th missions.

84008: Jenkins's Guide to Super-Villainy

I only put 'vital' things in the debriefings for arcs that are best played solo. Those slide more towards story than gameplay.
I'd love if you could play my arc, The Fall of Rapture (299507). It's been recently renovated so I want to see how it shapes up
We played Two Households Alike today.
I've played it before and gave it 4 stars back then. It seems to have been updated since because it has new custom enemies I don't remember from the previous run. I can't say that I particularly cared for the fire monsters in the last mission. I think they were stacking Smoke to an annoying level. Some team-members complained about that while I was lying dead in their midst.
On a large team the story was difficult to follow. Large battles and patrols made short work of bosses we were supposed to fight long before we could find them, causing their dialogue to go off seemingly at random. This was just about the only problem I had with it though. Other team-members thought the story was kind of dull and unimaginative.
I gave this version of the arc 3 stars. It might just have aged badly or the team experience made me like it less than before.

The biggest problem with a team was that mission 2 was extremely chaotic, and the required bosses were lost in the shuffle, and with no clues attached to them it made the story hard to follow. There were also very few Family on that map, considering the family feud was supposed to be the inciting factor to all the chaos. This was exacerbated by the "which side is that guy on again?" aspect once we got on a first-name basis with everyone. I admit I am bad with names though.
The fire imps were very much a filler group, with some contrived attempts to shoehorn them into the arc. And yeah, stacking Smoke. That was me complaining, after eating a few yellows and still being blind. Also, I did see a named boss (Katrina something) spawning with the optional boss of the final mission, should she be set to "do not autospawn"?

I am with Eve and FSB here. The tremendous amount of dialogue in clues and text bubbles make this arc not very team friendly. I am afraid I lost sight of the story halfway. The fire imps were a surprise as I had not noticed any clue explaining them. In the end, I felt that I could not rate the arc. Being confused because you are in a team says nothing about the quality of an arc.
I think your arc is more suitable for solo play with a toon that can handle AV's.
I did not rate it based on today's playthrough. In a team, if you were not the leader, the story was more or less impossible to follow. Since I rate primarily on the strength of the narrative, I didn't think it would be fair of me to rate this arc based on this particular play. It might be well-written, it might not, at this point I just don't know.
And I will agree that the sudden inclusion of the fire creatures in the final mission was a bit of a sudden jump. Maybe it is explained in the text somewhere.
I had only ever tested it solo, so I would be curious to see how Clan Destiny #349053 works with a full group. Any suggestions which might help would be appreciated!

If you get the chance, I'd love to see how the team saves the world from The Invasion of the Space-Ape Armada (Arc ID 356628).
Even at its height, the original version only got about 18 plays, so I doubt anyone's been through it before.
I would really like it if someone review my arc i been working on for some time

I'm really hoping your arc has less mistakes than this post. It may sound nit-picky, but they really distract from getting good feedback on actual story elements.
You may want to give it a once-over with a fine-toothed spell-checker before we run it...or risk the wrath of Fred!

Please be honest and brutal with it. I'd like some feedback on what can actually be improved. Oh, and the slightly messed up spawning levels I cant do anything about, I've forwarded that to Doc Aeon, and hoping something gets fixed one day. (As in, groups that should only spawn at, say, 35-39 will still spawn at 50...but hey ho.)
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Exactly that happened here. We investigate a new world and instead of tiptoeing out. We declare war on the ruler of said world and Alert him of our presence. You can bet that we can expect trouble in the future. That was a problem I had with this arc.
However, you did great with bringing that world to live. The enemy was well chosen and our allies had some funny and nice twists. When we met the black gentleman, he was appreciated that much that people declared to up their rating just because of him. And best of all. We had Nemesis and loads of them, but and this was so refreshing. NO NEMESIS PLOT. Not even the worst critics can complain about that.
I was less happy with the maps you used. Sure, the maps in mission 1-4 were appropriate and to the point. But all outdoor maps with a lot of stuff to look for that's a lot of work here. The map were we met Herald we all disagreed was a mistake. Should have been caves or a lower tech facility. The croatoa map was not right for it. All in all, despite the maps and the problem I had with the story I enjoyed the arc and can recommend it.

The problem I did have was that it was stretched out longer than it needed to be. The "you rescued so and so, now go rescue so and so" got a little repetitive. A mission could be cut, or additional objectives could be added, indicating that we are helping the good guys make some headway aside from just gathering them up.
I did like the take on the good guys, some good costuming, and the custom Nemmies looked nice too. And yeah, it's nice to fight Nemesis in an arc that is straightforward rather than the usual convoluted attempt at plotting.

The MA Super Team, a group made of MA reviewers, authors and enthusiasts, have decided to take submissions of arcs for the team to play. There are some limitations and expectation that should be considered before you submit your arc.
- Only one arc may be submitted per author.
- We will select arcs to be played by the team a few times a month.
- Arcs will be selected randomly.
- The MA super Team likes to play arcs that we haven't played before. So if your arc has been reviewed a couple of times, is a DC or PC nominee/winner there is a good chance we won't play it again because we already did so earlier.
- To submit an arc you do not need to play one of our arcs, but if you so desire a list is provided below.
- The MA Super Team meets 3-4 times a week and normally has 5+ players running the arcs we choose.
- Be very aware that the MA Super Team has many tough critics on it. If you are looking for a bunch of easy 5 stars, this is a bad place to look. We are however definitively fair and will be constructive in our feedback.
Any questions just ask here. Submissions are open!
