Are you used to having dates within two days of posting an online dating profile? Cuz if so, I must be doing something very wrong.

), but I DO know that they don't like dudes who give up so easily and get all emo over such trivial things.Here's what you need to do now: go to an actual dating site and create a profile. List one of your interests as online gaming, and mention that you play City of Heroes, and would love to meet a woman who's also into online gaming. You can always introduce her to CoH later if she plays something else. DO NOT mention that your previous girlfriends were overbearing harpies who didn't want you to play them new-fangled vidjagames. DO NOT whine about how lonely you are... or about anything else, really. DO post pictures--it's been proven that a dating site profile with pictures gets faster results than one without. If you post pics that have your daughter in them, don't post current ones, or else post one wearing Halloween costumes; daddy needing a date does not necessitate exposing your teenage daughter to online predators. Understand that this does not guarantee results in any sort of time frame, or at all... but it's doing something positive towards finding a person you can share your interests with.
Want any further advice? Let us know! Someone here will help you out. Like you said, we're a rather friendly bunch when it comes to online gaming communities. We might find your methods ridiculous, but nobody wants to see you fail at finding love.

I go do some xmas shopping and someone here calls me a big baby. HAHAHAHAHA.....Why would anyone think I had thrown in the towel just because I said Oh well....now it's time to do some xmas shopping abit. Giving up is not a trait I have in life. Regardless of what a female would think of me. I do it because I learned when I was around 13 years of age. "Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win". I also want to mention something someone mentioned. When I have put my profile on a dating site. I have many times recieved messages within 24 hours. I think I know why this is. I have asked these women why they sent me a message. I wont go into detail here. I will just say.....I was pleasantly surprised by their reasoning. I wanted to also mention....I do not smoke or do drugs or gamble. I cook many types of recipes awesome and I am a clean freak. I like a clean house in other words. I do my own laundry ...colors and whites mixed in with cold water. Hey...its only clothes worn 1 day. It would be awesome if the girl would be someone who loves playing COH/COV or any kind of MMO. And if she would play a musical instrument such like a Guitar or Flute, Violin etc. I love playing piano and mostly play be ear. I play what would be considered "Elevator Music". I have liked this kind of music since I was a kid. No metal or rap or reggae please. Any race is fine with me. Just please don't be from Ghana or Nigeria or Somalia. Especially if your going to use a water craft type of vessel to come see me eventually. You can be 32-46 years of age. I would prefer a feminine female if possible. Burly type, muscular bound with no neck is NOT what I seek. Please have real hair, normal skin ( no lizard skin please ), and a nice smile. Oh yeah....you need to be a happy woman in general. No depressed or suicidal tendancies wanted here. Single female or single mom is ok. I wont mind if you have up to 2 chidren. I get along well with children, kids, teens. Anyways.....that is all I wanted to add to this post. Tomorrow I am going to wrap tons of gifts to take to work on the 24th. If anyone that fits the description of what I seek. LOL, i'm sure i've never seen or even heard of a divorce paper drawn up for not saying yes dear. There's tons of reason people get divorced and i highly doubt that was your only problem.

What works: meet someone, get to know them, discover you share some interests, find that those interests support what you want in the relationship.
What doesn't: Decide you must must MUST have a partner who does X or has Y trait and nothing less will do.
I've been with my wife for ten years. When we got together, I had no idea she was a gamer. As we got to know each other that became a common hobby for us. Also, if gaming was the focus of her life (or mine!) our relationship would have died real fast. Hobbies aren't the glue that makes a relationship work.
