I like George Carlin's bit:
Think about how stupid the average person is. Now realize that half of them are even stupider than that.

I wish my gf played cox, but we have 1 PC, so I guess it's for the best as she would be hogging my levelling time lol. that, and I would be subjected to constant noob questions shouted from another room because that's what she would resort to instead of the chatbox, probably until she got her 6 month badge......

Ah, it would appear that this is in fact my 'Power of Turn A'. While i like mobile suits as much as the next fan, it's not what i wanted, so i have nothing more to say for the moment.

I think it was you saying you were looking to pick up a few bears that maybe made people decide to leave the thread alone for a bit

Lookin' for love in all the wrong places?

Welp, back to the cannery. Honestly, not much chance for love there, i don't go for girls with the 'Innsmouth Look'...

I just posted a intro of myself on a free classifieds in my area. I cannot believe there are woman who post for no strings attached relationships. Some that even want a gang of men to meet for an encounter. And here I thought asking for a gamer type girl was wierd. Oh well....I hope that brings me better luck in the near future. I have met women on there before. But this time I want a MMO type gamer woman. I hope that is a good place to find one or two.... Take it easy peoples.

Well, its good to have options... If your search for the perfect gamer chick fails, you can jump on the train!

Keep in mind, in these situations its best to be the engine rather than the caboose... Choo Choo!

My ex was a gamer. I started writing a song about her when we broke up...

"She broke my heart,
She stole my Wii,
She ERPed as a Futa...
In Pocket D."

But then I decided it would be more productive to just get drunk.

...

Anyway, good luck!

LMAO I find this absolutely hilarious as my not soon enough to be ex-wife stole my Wii and subsequently sold it.

Now that I think about it again... it's not so funny lol.

Why did you revive this thread?

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

I was following around some of the nonsense tags from another thread (the one about vinyl siding, I think), trying to see if I could figure out why people were bothering to add them, if there was some kind of coherent pattern or joke, and it didn't occur to me to check the post dates.

Within less than a minute of doing so, I'd been neg-repped for "NECRO POSTING!" That's kind of impressive actually, that someone pays close enough attention to the Player Questions forums to know that immediately.

Eventually my girl friends have wanted me to either stop playing or play less. I don't think that is right them telling or suggesting me what to do. I leave those kinds of relationships because I sense too much control on their part towards me. So I was thinking I should maybe find a woman who understands about MMO's and maybe City of Heroes/Villains. So I was thinking as usuing this thread as my idea to find a female between the ages of 32-46 of any race. I am a 46 year old latino father to a 13 year old little girl. I don't mind if you have a child(s). I live in California somewhere in the Los Angeles area. San Fernando Valley to be exact. That is about 15 miles west of L.A. So someone near that area or nearby would be perfect. I am serious about this and I just would like to make my next relationship easier. I don't want the hassles I normally have with explaining about being a MMO player.
I have not read the entire thread, but I wish you luck in your search. I am lucky that my girlfriend tolerates my MMO addiction as long as I don't let it consume every scrap of free time. While she didn't care for CoH much, didn't like any of the other MMOs I tried to get her to play with me (she kinda dug Warhammer since we played the Fantasy RPG together, but didn't want to spend money upgrading her PC so she could play it reasonably well) we've started playing Diablo II together and it's really fun.

This is why in our home, we share the master bedroom, our son has his bedroom, I've got my computer room/office and she has her library.

You don't need a gamer to have a good mate. You only need to choose more wisely who your mate will be and treat her with respect and demand the same in return. If you aren't giving it, then she chose poorly. If you aren't getting it, you chose poorly.

Yes, that means when she says, "yo, nookie now!" you get off the gorram computer and tend to her needs. Log back on when done.
Do you really have to log off or can you just emote dance for a couple minutes...If your worried about getting timed out that is

basically, if you see a miki on Triumph, it's probably cute and it's probably me.

Huge thanks to cuppamanga and all the folks in the mac help forum for prolonging my borrowed time on this game.
