Personally i use my bases all of the time as well as the Ouroboros portal which often depends on what i'm doing at that time.Hero side I perfer to use bases since it's far easier to get to a zone outside of PvP zones that is.
Redside I use the Ouroboros portal more for travel and my base for storage and crafting which is still used more often than travel.
As for the OP get over yourself.It's clear that asking a handful of people on Freedom of all places was clearly not enough people to represent the entire or majority of the CoX player base as far as Bases go.My advice is stop while your ahead since many of your replies are becoming progressivly troll-like and/or the means to start a flame war which the mods and the rest of us on these forums don't like getting involved in.

I use my base teleporters more than oro or mish teleporter or anything else. I only use those things when i am really far away from a portal or am coming into a team and they are already there i will mish tp to them. But the base tps are amazing and i use them everyday.

How on earth can you consider it a useful situation for people to use bases as a pass-through to get to other places for no other reason than that they have no better mechanism? That's your improvement to bases? "Hey, it's the least obnoxious way to get between zones!"
I don't think bases have any horrible problems that need fixing, but you sure didn't propose much for how to fix them if they did.

Its true that they could add a few more practical uses for bases. Target dummies had been asked many times and perhaps some more use of control rooms big computers. But still my SG have many uses of our base. Personally I love to build and decorate and other members uses storages, teleporters and crafting tables a lot. Portal corporations portal machine could be useful. Littlebit faster way to visit ss-maps and buy a new raptorpack.
edit. if the devs fix that base pvp perhaps they could add a prison too. Similar like in some missionmaps. Personally I don't care a base pvp, but theres many others who would like it.

Dammit there's too many people disagreeing with the OP for me to quote. So I'll quote MB and add a generic +1 to everyone else. I'm quoting all of you in my head.
My sg/vg mates use the bases(3 servers both sides)all the time.SG mishes,tp's,storage,decorating,crafting,and meeting places.
I have even started making a new vg for raids once it gets fixed,which in the past we have thoroughly enjoyed.I have one friend who doesn't use the tp's but he's a storage monster so he requires the base.
Here's my opinion though for this thread the OP should have thought first before inserting his foot in his mouth.
