P.E.R.C. Character Auction 11/21/09 8pm EST

I want to thank the community reps for volunteering their time. I think they may have gone for more if one of them was present, but I know its rough to get there on a Saturday night. Still 1.5 bill total was pretty awesome!

This event was a blast, MP! Thanks for doing all the work of organizing it and keeping it fun throughout!

I had heard this event was in the works and checked the forums once or twice a week for info on it. Sadly, those checks were on the 15th and right now. I was looking forward to purchasing Avatea and price was not going to be an issue.

Please next time give more advanced warning. If the winner of Avatea is possibly willing to sell my opening offer is double

Chriffer, there was less notice than usual for a PERC event, but checking once a week to see if something is going to happen may mean you'll miss some things. Not everything is planned out that far ahead, or announced. Heck, it's sometimes to announce an event to far ahead of time for in game things... it's not like a football game or something like that.

Egads, those prizes were huge... I hope I didn't miss out on my number being called after I logged off.

I also think it's quite awesome that three of the mods are willing to put in time like this. That's very much a cool thing to do, so thanks (even if I don't have the in-game cash to afford it)! And it was fun to see the turn out, even if there are some really weird people out there on Victory.

Yes sorry about the late notice, my real life has been driving me insane. There were a few people who were auctioned off that were not at the Auction. You have two weeks to contact me to get your 25% of your bid. If you do not, then I will consider you to be donating it back to PERC. The following people missed the auction: Iguanadon (bought by Medieval Power), Chantress(bought by Purple Pride), Kybarsfang(bought by Captain Advert) and Polaris (bought by Peril).


Would people be interested in seeing bidding totals? If so, I can post them.

This is not in the order people were auctioned off. This is just the order I had them in my file. People who went first had a bid of a disadvantage in getting bids, so if I do it again, they get to go last next time!!

I feel cheap , i wish i could have been awake for the red name biding. but i am happy, next time you guys should totaly have MoLRSF spots open for bidding.

As for Peril? Next time i'm bringing my change-purse!

Ice Knight or Medieval Power probably spent the most. I spent just over 1b for 8 people so not really all that much. If I had a bit more time to collect money/not spend money I would have bought at least half the people that were for sale.

I was there, and I thought it was great fun! I think there were around 50-70 people there, but my estimation abilities suck.

Madame Pistacio and the PERC people, as well as the others who helped the team out, did a TERRIFIC job managing his not-so-simple event - way to go MP!

Woaw, 510 Millions, that's a whole load of Inf I've never ever had in my little purse in all 57 months I've played City of Heroes...

Hehe... Congratulations to everyone, sounds like it was a great time!

I gave out 73 numbers for the drawings, but I know some people who had a number left before the end and I know some people came in too late to get a number. So I know that at minimum there were 90 people at some point or other in Pocket D. Electric-Knight, good job with the math, you are correct! Though if you want to be technical, I gave out over 500 mill in door prizes, so that's like over 10 b was passed around hehe!
