Is this as intended and or a new feature from I16 ?

I noticed that I wasn't seeing any heroes when I was on my villain in the ouro, and it seems that when I had a friend from hero side try to meet me in the ouro they couldn't see me.

Is this intended and if so when did it happen ?

As far as I know it has always been that way.

Reason being.. Only Heroes can do the Hero arcs, and only Villains can do the Villain arcs. They aren't Co-op.

I'm not able to recall a time, even in beta, when Ourobous was shared between sides.

Far as I'm aware, only Pocket D and Rikti War Zone are co-op. (and Cimerora / Midnight Club. Thanks. No idea how I forgot them)

I'm waiting to see what wacky antics are involved when I bring a home-grown villain over to blueside and try to do my Ouroboros introduction arc.

Ouroboros issues + SG issues = "Give us until next year to figure it out."

I never saw any vills in Ouro on any of my heroes I always figured it was hero side only or vills side only no crossing?

The entire universe will be destroyed. And as an environmentalist, I'm against that.

And we know how that co-op ended

EDIT: That reminds me - I have a feeling we might see that untargetable-to-targetable tech somewhere else in the game - it seems like a lot of work to have done it just for a one off event that ran for only a few hours.

I doubt it was any complicated tech. Probably just a dev flicking the PvP zone flag on.

And that was, technically, a third version of the zone. (The hero/villain versions of the zone are identical, but the Manticore/Psyche wedding version of the zone had the main chamber with the Pillar of Ice and Flame sealed off, so it was especially noticeable)

First, you have to turn a book in to the Priest of Dischord...

Yes. Day one.

The only exception was when villains crashed the wedding of Manticore and Sister Psyche.

I believe Flagged PvP has technically been in game since the end of CoH Beta Rikti Invasion and was used again for the end of CoV Beta Signature Character Invasion.

I almost miss that game.

Never turned in the book to the Priests of Dischord though.

Ouroboros has always been segregated by faction. Unless there was a time before it went on the test server where it was cross-faction, but then only the Devs would've had access to it. However, initially any character of any level could take an O-Portal to the zone. i think i still have a level one character on test with the Ouroboros exploration badge.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

Um... no? There was no PVP in the game at all when CoH was launched.

And during the signature character invasion, it wasn't so much PVP as dev-controlled bots. It's arguable to consider them players, since they conned as Hero-class critters and not as player characters.

Only in the Rikti War Zone, which was already mentioned.

Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges

During the Rikti invasion at CoH launch, there were devs controlling some of the Rikti, much like the signature characters during CoV launch.
