If I win again, are people gonna get really pissy about it again?

Ok now I understand why in the DarkGuard 2 yr anniversary thread there was an AOW reference. And just so it's known, as with the CC's and our PvP tournaments no members are allowed to participate... it's strictly to have something going for a server thas has been so generous to us. So plz come out this week when you can in the evenings and enjoy... (is that a shameless plug?) Ahhhh well....lol

First off.....Villians were NOT origionally invited. People with villians protested in our origional threads - 80 and 800 Million AE Challenge.

With 3 months to prep and listening to Villians say they would not unbalance the event we agreed to let them come (we thought we could come up with Infamy). Now it has become crystal clear that villians WOULD unbalance the event and since AOW is a SG not a VG and i had no support getting the Infamy myself Villians are now excluded.

You cannot see things from my perspective because 1. you never tried to do this kind of event and 2. you never tried to raise 2 Billion Infamy for an event.

As for the balance problem, if you want to see what i am talking about instead of posting nonesense, run the mission - The Army Of Dragons with a team of corrupters, dominators and brutes. Then run it solo with a Stalker. Then run it with a MM or a team of MM's. You will finally see what i mean about balance. The lone stalker will beat the event in approximately 45 minutes while the other teams wont be able to complete it at all.

Trying to write a challenge that is 30-60 minutes long that can challenge vets but not frustrate noobs is not easy. If you think it is, just try it!

If you couldn't come up with infamy you should've originally stated that instead of saying it in a rude way, I'm sure everyone would've understood then, I know I would have. Instead you go out and say villains don't deserve an event.

Although, I still lol at villains making PvE unbalanced. Try running the mission with a team of Scrappers, Blasters, Controllers, and Defenders. I'm sure you'll get similar results. Any stacked villain team you can easily make just as a stacked team made up of heroes.

My guess would be the kind that doesn't want a solo stalker to steal 1st place from them?

So instead of throwing out the baby with the bathwater, why not just say "Sorry, no stalkers or MMs" or come up with some kind of handicap? Oh, wait, that involves a few more seconds of work....I forgot. You don't like doing work.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

Maybe they aren't on heros at all. Maybe they are a stalker who farms ae alone faster then any full hero team could do.

I am not trying to be insulting, i am just pointing out what should be obvious to you guys. If you constantly show bad behaviour then i will call you out on it. Use some common sense and we will get along fine.

Just She. I'm not in AoW anymore but I assure you that none of the other members are to blame. Don't use one person's actions to justify hating an entire supergroup. I highly doubt any of you can name three members in AoW anyway (Aside from felecia). And if you don't even know who they are, don't go on rants about what a problem they are.

Sometimes I have a dull and dreary day. I get home tired and wanting to sleep but have more to do. So I abuse the cat. I eat some food. Nothing makes me feel better...so beat tired.

Then I read threads like this and giggle my little blonde *** off and life is good.

Seriously...you couldn't script this **** if you tried.

I think this thread counts as PvP win.

Actually, while I get your point. You are wrong. They knowingly allow her to represent them and sling the AOW name around with all the other BS she is slinging.

I "WISH" one of my Officers said 1/1000th of the stuff she has said in a public forum representing the SG. The kick button would ***** slap them all the way to WOWland. We all have the right to be a ***** or ******* when we want to. Hell I have my "special" moments as well. However when you run events in your SG's name, have forum threads in your SG's name and speak on behalf of your SG it reflects on the SG. An SG may not be able to stop people from doing what they want to, however if they continue to let them act that way and continue to be a member and officer representing that SG then they are just as equally entitled to be grouped up in the **** pot of stench.

If you don't like the event, don't go.

If you don't like one of the hosts, don't post in their thread.

Seems like I gave this advice before about a previous super group on Champion, maybe it's time to just ignore those you don't like instead of starting all this ruckus. Just a thought.

And yet, Champion took care of those troublemakers all by itself. The truth of the matter is, if they would only behave, there would be no trouble.

Through the varied seasons of drama, the people of Champion have become very good at spotting and bringing troublemakers to task, especially those that thumb their noses at consequences.

To me, it almost seems as though a "thank you" would be in order.

Or maybe I don't like what they are saying instead. I am sure it just about how much I hate the host, sg, and event since I started posting on this form in hopes that aow would allow villains in the event like it was advertised at first. I might be a bit mad at aow actually for having wast time and money prepping a toon for this even. Just to get a big ***** you for a stupid reason. But I also did learn from this post at least that I should make a stalker for my next ae farm toon.

O here is the rude statement that I believe is why this event/ sg/ Felecia started to get flack from people. Also its funny because I don't think she even asked any one for help.

I'm confused Fels--haven't you made it clear in the past that you don't farm, or am I mixing you up with someone else??

But that is part of the problem. "Taking care of troublemakers" seems to mean attacking anyone who doesn't fit the nice and easy stereotypes that the most vocal seem to prefer (only excusing themselves and their friends from having to behave decently, of course.) I seem to remember a lot of claims about "server elite" and "forum celebrities" a while ago, but it does seem that some people can do no wrong, while others make their mistakes and have it held over their heads forever.

Personal vendettas shouldn't have a place or be excused, and both sides of a disagreement should have to own up for their responsibility. There is no single "bad guy" even in this thread, but people certainly are acting as though there were.

Just because someone is in the minority doesn't necessitate that they have to be defended every. single. time.
