maybe if I looked real hard I'd
I'd see your trying too
To understand this life
That we're all going through
(Then when she said she was going to like wreck my car... I didn't know what to do)

Sometimes I feel like I'm beating a dead horse
An I don't know why you'd be bringing me down
I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more
It may sound funny but you'd think by now
I'd be smiling
I guess some things never change
Never change

Sometimes when you see people post things...you just want to smack yourself in the face with a shovel.

Less painful...

This only directed to Felecia, the rest of you are gold.

Oh and on a side note...nice avatar Cobalt.

Just for the record..

Technically all the Stoned Templars, according to FD, were in AOW. Since she considers anyone in coalition with her to be in her supergroup. Unfortunately we were all kicked for being bad people and not recruiting for her and for wanting to remove 1 their 492 factions from our coalition to make room for someone else. I believe we were wanting to remove the faction that deals with being totally condescending and overflowing with self importance and letting everyone know how great I am.

Anyways...once again, nice avatar Cobalt.

I see a lot of honest posts full of wisdom, especially coming from CriticalCat.

I just read the last 3 pages, so my comments are from that point on.

AOW is mentioned many times simply because we needed a title for the event and since AOW is the group that puts the funds together and hosts it, thats the name that goes with it.

AOW and myself had no intentions of replacing events or putting them down, and if you read past posts we never did say you guys did not contribute greatly. What we did say was - there should be lots of MORE fun events on the server and we are here to help make that happen!

You can argue i did speak against PvPEC, but what i was saying is - there should be 2 seperate events, one for vets and one for noobs. That's just my personal opinion.

If you think my name conjures up visions of Dramafire, then simply ignore me and talk about the events. I am not looking for your approval, i am looking to have more fun events for people.

I made offers to PERC and PvPEC to fund events and leave the AOW name out of it but i was turned down, so.................only one thing left to do..............continue running AOW Events.

Either show up and have fun or don't, your choice, the events will continue for the enjoyment of everyone.

When hosting events i am unbaised and many people i don't consider team material still end up winning lots of events. In a CC your costume and bio speaks for you and that's what i judge you on, it doesnt matter if we get along or not, your at the event to have a good time and show off what you can do. IT IS YOUR MOMENT TO SHINE!

Addendum: PERC and PvPEC turned me down because they did not feel the need for bigger prizes, they felt that what they offered was reasonable enough and people should come out to events mainly because they want to have fun. It should not be all about money. They do have a valid point, but i think having larger prizes or more prizes gives people more of a reason to come out. This topic might be a good discussion for another thread.

Forgot to address Elf-Stalkers question:

ALL-OUT-WAR-RAIDERS (PvP division) is now 1 month old. Yes, that is correct - 1 month. So our main group of alts are now level 35-45. We will not be ready obviously to do any serious pvp at our anniversary but January we should have close to 30 new pvp'ers ready for action. We have had some vets join with level 50's who might show up and put on a good show this sunday. We will just have to see what happens. Even if no AOW compete the event will still go on as long as enough people show up.

No need to start yet another Felicia thread. Everyone is reading this one, so let's keep the answers in here, shall we.

If your event isn't fun without prizes, it won't be fun even with huge prizes. If you feel you have to overcompensate because either the sponsor would drive people away that are on the fence about coming, or you just suck at planning an event, that's your deal, but I doubt there's a whole lot of folks that will show up to an event simply because of the prizes awarded. Make it worth their time. You don't have to show everyone how great you are.

Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.

This is probably the most polite post I have seen from you and I personally appreciate that immensely.

I do want to correct one thing though. PVPEC has never been contacted by you with an offer for extra funds. I am the only Champion rep and the leader of the Organization overall and have been the only Champion rep for a very long time. You have never approached me or any other Officer/member offering extra prizes. I accept extra prizes all the time from various members/leaders of Champion and would be more than happy to accept your funds.

As far as PERC, I don't know about the Champion reps. I retired from being Officer of PERC and am not a full time rep now. I am what they call a consultant which means I just sit around and look cool and offer advice or help as needed. I however do still run most of my pve events in the PERC name and am also happy to accept any funds you want to donate for those as well.

Of course the stipulation if you really did want to donate funds is that AOW's name would not be associated with the events at all. I do not run events in SG name's and never will. My events are for the community with no hidden agenda or attempt to gain popularity for any SG, including my own.

So if your offer is sincere in wanting to help fund PVPEC or PERC events you know where to find me. As I stated MANY Championites have donated before, more dollarz is more dollarz.

I did tell you Cat we were willing to give funds when we had e-mails going back in forth, if you want to know exactly when the offer was made, it was the same day 4shes said he was running pvp events. AOW donated 100 million to his first event. The next day Budweiser dropped 500 Million into the pot. Does any of this ring a bell? It was during the summer i think.

As for PERC, i made the offer to Dazz Marvelous and the quote about PERC saying they had adequate funding and thought events should have people come out for fun and not big profits came directly from him.

Even if no one remembers this, it doesnt matter, AOW has volunteered to fund events if they are beneficial to everyone and not a small select group. We offered extra funds to 4shes and for The Mighty Writer's Contest this past year. Neither 4shes or Mighty has any association with AOW.

Earlier this year we started a thread asking what events you would like to see. We are still open to suggestions, or if Cat has events that will be good for everyone as opposed to the same usual PvPers, we would be willing to help out still.

Oops, i just reread the last part of Cat's thread, there is no need to mention our sg for donations, contact me in-game and we will help out, i will talk to our other leaders or you can contact them - Frozen Flafatron, Shaawiing, Apochrypha, Gadgetter, Toxic Striker, Roxanne Frost, William Alexander, White Raven (MIA atm), Solarflames, or our glorious new leader of main division PRIXY. Or contact Dave Mebs, he still has a voice in AOW and can wrestle us into helping. Other prominent members to talk to Illyana Radburner, Skye Swift and OBAMA 08.

I would like to give a special thanks to the Hammers of Justice for thier help and support.

Patriot-Man is well known and respected. Today he made a huge donation for the events tomorrow, it was not asked or expected, this shows his true character!

Talon Arsenal is well known on the forums and has offered to be a judge for the CC's tomorrow if he is not dealing with RL. It is much appreciated. So now you know who to bribe (wink).

PHIRE has been missing lately. He was one of our AE Challenge testers and it has been a bit hard without his knowledge. I hope he returns soon, simply because he is a wonderful hero.

Undead Cyborg is rejuvinating PvP on this server, i want to thank you for allowing me access to your insights on PvP. His sg has a forum on the subject.

Yanno the irony of this is I don't delete p.m.'s and have all of the TWO p.m.s that me and you have ever shared. Both of which were in regards to you being a ***** in one of my PVPEC event threads and then you appologizing for it. There is you saying that you want to help the Champion server and get more events and if you could help rebuild the pvp population just let you know. Niether of which have any mention of any funds. Even if you thought you mentioned it I certainly didn't tell you no.

Anyways, like I said people donate all of the time. Silas donated 400mil just today to my Monster Mash event. If at any time you do want to donate to an event just let me know and I will be happy to take it, no doubt.

10:15am est. and felicias a no show for her own event? This was supposed to start at 9:00am est. And everyone on line from AOW doesnt seem to know ANYTHING about this event.

WOW

Now were being told by DOZLE that the mission was supposed to start at 9am est, (we were there since 8am est with 2 teams ready to go) And that we were supposed to start then, so because we didnt, we were disqualified.
This is a nothing but a farce.

9 AM EST - 800 MILLION AE CHALLENGE: Mission will be announced at start of event - This will be held in RWZ building, lvl 50's recommended. P.o.N Disqualified for not starting at 9am by Dozle from AOW

10 AM EST - 50 Million Costume Contest - In RWZ, there will be 4 categories with 10 prizes each. Grand prizes are 50 Million. Categories are Best Hero Costume, Best Hero Biography, Best Villian Costume, and Best Villian Biography. P.o.N, along with 15-20 others were here, Again, no one from AOW bothered to show up for this event.

11 AM EST - 8 vs 8 PvP Tournament Elimination Style (Rated Event)- In GALAXY Arena, we can argue who is on what team when we are there. Top 10 teams, Grand prize 25 Million to each member of the winning team. Again P.o.N has shown with 2 teams ready and on time, No AOW.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12 NOON : LUNCHBREAK!AOW also failed to even do this right....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have discovered there are people hoping to force a win in the pvp events so the format has been changed!

1 PM EST - 50 Million Eliminator PvP Challenge (Rated Event) - Prizes for top 4 players. This will be a 1 vs 1 elimination match, opponents selected at random. Winners of each round move on.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3 PM EST - 50 Million Gladiator Eliminator Match (Rated Event) - Prizes for top 4 gladiator leaders.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4 PM EST - Rikti Mothership Raid

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5 PM EST - DINNERTIME!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6 PM EST - 50 Million Costume Contest - In Atlas Park under the statue. 3 categories. Prizes for top 10 in each category. Best Under Level 20 Costume, Best Biography, and Best Costume. Events will be held in that order so Bio will be 6:20 and main event 6:40. Grand prize is 50 million for main event and 25 million for best under lvl 20 and 25 million for best bio.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7 PM EST - AOW will take a break to make way for Amygdala (RDLV) since she hosts the Hamidon Raid at this time. We encourage people to have fun with her event. This is held in Eden.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8PM EST - High Society Ball - Hosted by Madame M. This is a Costume Contest and probably a good time to check out the High Society Order sg base. I hear they throw fun parties. There is a thread for this in the forums.

9 PM EST - MAIN EVENT - AOW 8 BILLION AE CHALLENGE - Atlas Park AE Building. Prepare for lag! Register your team prior to 10 minutes before the event! This is soloable but is better with a team.
All teammates must be from the same sg, yes you can mix divisions, so UHB and ULB can team, same with DarkGuard and DarkGuard-Apocalypse as an example.
Event will run 30-75 minutes.
Top 10 teams through the mission listed below will win prizes. Winners on the 1st place team will get 1 Billion Infl. each (8 people = 8 Billion in prize money, that's how we determined the name for the event). So even if you solo and come in 10th you will still recieve 100 Million for your trouble

Mission #343709 - The Army Of Dragons (This mission will be tweaked just before the start to add a password and a few surprises such as a GM or couple of AV's switched to add more excitement but will run almost exactly as it is now)

I feel the same way about any event that your sg (any hosting sg, really) can participate in and potentially take the prize from participants outside of said sg.

Due to complications beyond our control the ALL-OUT-WAR anniversary events have been moved to next weekend Dec. 20th. Events and times on the schedule will remain the same.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Keep face palming your good at that. Heres an idea run your own damn event and stop hijacking others.

Yea thanks for making mine the same, got some good lulz reading your posts. Oh but its not about me, its all about you. Heres another idea, dont join AOW events, you dont want to be there, and Iam sure they dont want you either.

Epic job Champs, Just Outstanding, week in and week out. Do you honestly think group attacking someone makes you some better person? What it does is show who you really are. What does that mean? It means people like me, who happen to read this crap form openions real quick about you with out ever meeting you in game, or real life.
I can tell you if I hosted an event and got this much bull ****, Id just start banning names.
Truth betold Felecia_Divine is one of the nicest, friendly, helpful, hardworking, dedicated and thoughtfull people in this game. If any one cant see that, your blind or an idiot causing trouble.

Whether this event runs today, next week, next year, or Never is none of my buisness, and Budwiser we all know you desperatly need the money we get that. So show some respect shut the hell up, and get back in line. The event is a perk, not Your reward.

You only get one chance to make a first impression.

'I don't like the look of it at all,' said the King: 'however, it may kiss my hand if it likes.'
'I'd rather not,' the Cat remarked.
'Don't be impertinent,' said the King, 'and don't look at me like that!' He got behind Alice as he spoke.
'A cat may look at a king,' said Alice.

WTF. Now this IS a problem. I completely agree with Budweiser here. I kind of planned my day around being there for the 8bil challenge and now you're telling me it's not going to happen?
