I wanted to have fun. Sitting around at 5AM waiting on an event that has been hyped, and actually turns out to be a bust isnt my idea of having fun. See, Events of this size should have a little better planning, its obvious to me that the event did not go on because FELICIA was not here, soooo does the world stop spinning because she has some issues?
I think not. Thats why sg's have multiple leaders. Someone else steps in and runs things in her place.

On a side note guys give AOW and Felicia a break. **** happens. People have real life emergencies. If something happened to me and I couldnt make it to my event no one else would be able to jump in and run it either. I would have the cash and all the specifics personally. Then again this is one of the reasons I don't run events in my SG's name then there isn't any expectations for them to pick up the ball if I don't make it.
Either way as long as its resceduled then no need to get your panties in a bunch. This is a video game and RL is way more important.

She has made it clear in this thread there are numerous leaders in AOW and to ask any 1 of them questions if we had them. The question now is why didnt another leader step in to keep the events moving forward and offer a reason why felecia wasnt able to make it and why payouts would be delayed.
Im fully aware this is a game and real life issues do most certainly come 1st.. however, with 7+ chapters, with an event thats been hyped now in various forms for well over 3 months, i would think that someone would have made sure to save AOW further embarrassment... This was hyped as an "event for the community", from a "community minded" sg wanting to "do more for the community" etc etc etc.. so, 1 person not being able to be there has now caused everyone else that made plans to be there, and was there, left to scratch their heads.

BTW, "IF" I was farming pvp recipes not only would it be none of your business, but also not a bannable offense being toons pvp'n against each other is the way the game was intended to be played. 30 minute match limits totally eliminated the ability to AFK farm anymore.
